An amazing game on a constant uphill walk.

As someone with >1,800H in this game (as of writing this review) I can safely say they've been getting better and better over the years, even through any road bumps they might've had during certain patches. What matters is they pulled through and have delivered us some amazing content with the most recent and most notable of the bunch being the 1999 Update.

The new frames have felt pretty fun and unique both in design and playstyle, the reworks have been decently good and very well deserved, the community's voice is often heard (when it matters) and every piece of content, be it cosmetic or not, is absolutely stunning lately.

At the time of writing this review I do not have much bad to say about the game, besides maybe melee feeling a little off at the moment with there only being one or two viable builds and such. However, that's getting (hopefully) fixed in the coming patches.

I highly recommend you give this a try if you like grindy f2p games with horde shooter vibes and a decently interesting story. Also decent customization! Which is always a plus~
Also, the fact you can grind for and gain premium currency just by playing the game is also a big plus and might be extremely appealing to a lot of the audience!

You clearly care about what matters and wish to make the players who like and truly believe in you happy.

Do not support Capcom's dystopian view on gaming, do not give them money. It is our rights, our fight, our protest.

Adding DRM is already sh*tty in and of itself, adding later is even worse. DRM hurts the paying customer's experience, disallowing mods on single-player titles hurts the paying customer's experience, completely removing cheats or tools (be it for speed-running or just exploring the world in a more detailed manner, i.e. free cam and so on) hurts the customer's experience...


I'm glad I got this game for free (gifted by a friend) but I'm saddened he had to give money to greedy corporations like these.

Not to mention the company they decided to work with, who were basically a no-name beforehand, have the worst stuck-up attitude possible towards consumers.
