I would definitely recommend this game. It's an amazing game that can seem unappealing to some players on the cover, but it goes very in depht and explores a lot of very real and scary emotions - like depression, suicidal thoughts, obsession, and violence at home - that other games like this simply don't. This game doesn't just redefine the term 'visual novel' it redefines gaming as a whole. It explores a lot of new elements, and it's rare to see such creativity in games nowadays. For example the interactivness that comes from letting the player change the game by deleting special files that are easily available, is simply amazing. This game doesn't just follow a linear path, but it branches out, and you can choose your own path, which can lead to different endings. Another thing that this game is amazing at, is it's replayability, you can choose the same path, but there are different random events that might occur on every playthrough. Some times these random events are a bit subtle, but that juts makes it even more satisfying when you find them - I recommend keeping the game files open, since there is sometimes, for a limited period of time secret files that you can view. This might just be my favorite game so far, since it has been such a long time since I have been so deeply immersed into a game.
