I own a Valve Index. Have for quite some time now. When I want to play VR it only works about 10% of the time. The other 90% I spend an hour trying to get it to work before I give up. I don't know if it's the hardware or software but both products are made my Valve and it doesn't work very well. Don't understand why they can't make it work 90% of the time. If I knew VR would be this dodgey, I wouldn't have dropped $1k on it.

Is Pax Dei bare bones? Yes.
Is it a walking simulator right now? Yes.

I have high hopes for this game. It doesn't deserve the hate its getting. It's Early Access. That means it's a bare bones, just barely playable build. That's what you're getting as an Early Access. As EA grinds on, I'll edit this review to be a more proper examination of a title approaching v1.

This is what Starship Troopers Extermination SHOULD have been. An homage to blockbuster action movies of the 80s and 90s.

Visuals - 9/10
Sound - 10/10
Gameplay -8/10
Controls - 7/10

I'm not sure I would call it a game. More of an experience. If you enjoy HR Gigers work and Lovecraftian horror you owe it to yourself to play.

This is such a cool concept for VR. The only other game I've seen that is similar is Eye in the Sky and this one blows it out of the water.
