Let's begin with stuff that everyone probably already knows. Persona 5 Royal is a very, and I mean very good game. In terms of gameplay, in terms of story telling (hi Sae), heck, in all other terms, the game is very good. Aaand, because the game is good, it made a huge boom when it released (og p5 days), and, I'll tell you what, it's deserved.

It's good, but some might find it boring after a few dozen hours, like some of my friends. But personally, I love it, and I wish there were more games like this, take Like a Dragon for example, it has a turn based gameplay too, but the narrative is different.

Is real good. Yeah, some might find it boring or whatnot, since it's a turn based game, but the progression and the fact that Ren/Akira ended up in Tokyo because on false charges, it's a good way to begin a plot heavy game, at least in my opinion. Some people are savoring the story for 100+ hours, listening to every voiced over dialogue, and doing multiple playthroughs, and you know what, it's really, really worth it. As for me, I finished the game twice, yes, twice, for my 147 hours. And tell you what, they were one of the greatest 147 hours I had in my life. Also, I'm pretty sure that there are plenty of people, whom this game influenced to change their lifestyles and life in general, it's a miracle for a game to do it, and if it does that, you already know that the game will be very good.
