Really cool game and the only realtime deckbuilder i can think of.
All characters are cool, the graphics is cool, the music is cool, everything is cool.

The only two downsides i've found is that:
1. There is no way to exclude certain items from equipment pool, so you can clog your equipment pool with crappy items you don't ever want to equip.
Although there's not really much useless equipment, so it's a minor issue.
2. There are no saves inside the NG+ run, which is very annoying considering how unstable this game may be. There's no worse way to end the run than if the game crashes.

This is the gold nugget i was seeking while browsing through old games by known indie developers.
I wonder why it's not tagged as precision platformer because it is, in fact, a precision platformer.

First i didn't know you can throw pitons in all 8 directions, not just horizontally and down. I realized that on the first golden egg section.
Then, on the last section of the game i realized i can run on Shift and it boosts piton's speed.
Yep, i should have read the controls fully, but i'm genuinely impressed it was possible to go so far in the game with such limitations.

Later i also learned you can get off the current rope by pressing jump while holding down. Previously, i just jumped and held down which was inconsistent in some cases (like in the first golden egg section).

I was initially repulsed from doing the deathless achievement because i generally don't like such challenges in precision platformers, but in this one i genuinely felt how i become better and more consistent with each replay.
And i also thought the "CFO" achievement required completing the game deathless as well as collecting all money. Thank goodness it did not, i just so happened to not notice one singular moneybag in every single playthrough.

On the other side, this game made me hate snowmen. Why the hell do snowmen kill on collision even when it's stunned?

I mean... Eh, an OK... Platformer/Clicker? ~50/50 here, but more so to the negative side. I had some fun but also not.
Has some annoying bugs, like:
- If you hold LBM while exiting the water, you will not enter the slowmo and just crash into the spikes.
- If you regrab the flip platform, funky stuff happens.
Also, the 24 level boss is hard as hell for no reason. At first i just cheesed it by finding a safe spot and letting the boss go ahead of me.
When completing it legitimately, i died more times (~50) than on the rest of the game. I don't know why, but the first few jumps feel like absolute RNG: sometimes you pass, sometimes you don't. It is incredibly inconsistent. At least it is very easy to cheese.
The second boss was nowhere as difficult which makes me believe that the first boss is difficult due to some internal bug, like it's speed is tied to the frame rate or something.

Well... It is certainly a platformer. It has stealth and precision sections.

Stealth sections are tied to waiting for the enemies to sync to even start doing something.
In one room i had to wait for full 30 seconds doing nothing until 2 enemies finally sync together and i can even START my attempt. It's not FUN like the game title suggests.

Precision sections are done better, but there's a massive ledge snap, which becomes a problem in chapter 3. It often causes you to literally teleport into the spikes when you're close to the top corner of the ledge in between spikes.
Also, there's absolutely no input buffering, which makes wall jumps slightly more clunky to pull off.

The game uses pre-made assets, okay, whatever. But you can't even replay specific chapters? You can't even see how many gems you've got in each chapter? Why?

I got the game for free and i enjoyed chapter 3. Would i pay money for that? Nuh-uh.
Oh, and the game weighs 9.5MB. Cool, i guess? Maybe the author made the game from scratch of something.

As a fan of precision platformers i really liked this game.

First of all, it looks and sounds amazing. Each location has a distinct ambience which feels good.
The game is also full of cool little details such as upside-down city on Barrow's Ceiling background.

The only nuance i've found is that dying resets all progress made; reloads the save. This means that you'll have to repick all items you've gathered before dying or go back to savepoint after each gathered item. This may be frustrating, but it really affects only metroidvania part of the game.

Oh, and rocket launcher feels like the most desirable weapon for having real fun. It's a game changer, it really cracks the game open.
It also levels out most skill requirements in jump-puzzle rooms, changing them into pure ingenuity test which is also pretty fun.

The fact that devs also add bonus postgame content is amazing, by the way.
Really wish the game had more attention around it.

Good
A big step forward in terms of gameplay and replayability relatively to the Helltaker.
The story is ok, absolutely not complaining about the "kissing ghost girls" plot
Completed the normal mode in ~1 hour and the hard mode in 2 hours. Also replayed some later levels, chapter 9 is the hardest tbh.

This is the live service game that rejected being a live service game.

Is it repetative? Kind of. But also it doesn't enforce you to play it every day like any other live service.
All seasonal events provide quests to get cosmetics from previous years, even battle pass seasons are replayable.
You are the one deciding when and how much to play this game.

The only problem i can think of is that the promotions are basically useless. All the progression kinda stops after the first promotion on each class and stops completely when you acquire all overclocks.
Oh, and also i don't think cosmetic matrix cores should only apply to one dwarf. This just bloats the amount of needed matrix cores for all cosmetics.

Completed the main game in ~2.5 hours. Also completed 106%.
Legendary game

Some minor fixable flaws:
No ingame key rebinding but you can change the config file (local files -> buttonmap.cfg)
Also there's a problem with Shift button. You see, in the game you sprint 95% of the time, which means that you have to HOLD shift all the time. Ngl, i played this game for 10+ years, it was my childhood game. I can't say it's a bad game.
Now i don't have time nor desire to play it the same way i did it in the past, now i view it as a sandbox game.

Does it have flaws? Yeah.
It's quite grindy. Sometimes unfair. You need a wiki to know what to do now. Master mode is boring. The game can be unbalanced. Journey mode is good as creative mode only when you have a character with all researches.
Do i think it makes the game bad? No.
