This is just my first impression after a few hours and I might change it in the future. So far I don't think it's worth the time, for multiple reasons:

* The steam launcher can't start the game on Linux. It can only run through the Terminal or adding a custom launcher in your system. A game that is is all about programming, hacking and terminal operations, I would have expected better Linux support.

* In-game links are broken and not clickable - such as tutorial links but also external links like discord, github etc. It gives a broken feeling and reduces motivation, because it makes me wonder how much more will be broken down the line and if it's even worth investing time into the learning curve.

* Nothing serious but it annoys the heck out of me: the programs in the game all end with ".exe" which feels so wrong since the terminal is clearly unix/bash inspired. For the very least it should be customizable or adapt to the system it is running on because it just feels weird and wrong and kills the immersion. Even a made up file ending would have been a better choice.

In general the game doesn't feel engaging to me for now. It's a futuristic world setting but I am just lacking the connection of why and what I should be doing (other than earning money). I felt very left alone after the tutorial and would have wished for a more quest driven gameplay (but maybe there is and it was just hidden behind a broken link). Maybe I will also get the hang of it by looking around more.

But it's also not all bad and I want to finish on the good things:
* There is a native Linux version. No matter how broken it is but it's still nice that it exists.
* Customizable interface
* Real JavaScript language support

I loved the game on my mobile phone and I was so looking forward to get it on steam. Playing it now on a big screen is even more fun and it's great that there were more features added, such as custom maps and gameplay. It's great that the developers released a native Linux version and from day 1 it runs great. I am going to have many hours of fun with it.

I like this game. It was a little bit difficult to get used to the controls at first, but once you get the hang of it it's fine. I actually enjoy the fact, that it can be all controlled with one hand using the numpad (free hand for coffee/snacks lol).
It's turn based, which allows you to really think about what you're doing and enjoy the spooky spacey atmosphere, without getting in a rush. The story also sounds cool and I am looking forward to explore it all.

I really enjoy playing Armello. It used to be quite tough in the beginning, because the concept is unique and there are just so many rules and mechanics to learn. I still think that I don't understand all of it, but it is great fun to explore and understand the complexity of the game with each round a little more. And of course the fact that you can play it with friends helped me a lot, to get into it quickly.
It's cool that there are so many different ways to win, so many characters to choose from and endless possibilities to use your cards, dice and character's abilities. The gameplay is relaxing and I also like the fact that every game has a good time limit, so you don't get lost too much. This is definitely one of the best digital board games I have played so far, with beautiful design and graphics.
Of course a big plus for me is the Linux support (big thanks to the devs). Works out of the box and runs great and there is no problem with cross platform (Linux and Windows).

I must admit I only got it because of the achievments that allow you to put words on your profile. It's very simplistic but actually not bad and the price is fair. I enjoyed it and it is a good typing practice.
The font is a bit too pixelated and letters can be confused sometimes, but it's probably just something to get used to. And there's a little bug that the game sometimes doesn't recognize the pressed key anymore, but if you start a new game everything is fine again.
Other than that it runs without problems on my Ubuntu based system.

Nice and relaxing game. The gameplay is really unique and the artworks are simply beautiful. It's a very special interactive piece of art.

I bought the game, because it’s visually appealing. Every scene and background has been beautifully hand-drawn, offering a different experience than what we are used to in these type of 2D video games. Love the ancient Greek art style and I was pleasantly surprised about how much fun the game and how beautiful the soundtrack actually is.

Runs great on Linux and is a must have for any ancient greek buff!
