Hello I am Joel and I have been playing video games for a majority of my life (I was born in 1985). I was first introduced into video gaming by my parents on Windows 3.1, or as a lot of people know, MS-DOS. From there, I played such games as the original Star Wars: Dark Forces and Full Throtle. The Dig, Escape from Monkey Island and so forth my childhood was buried with LucasArts and other misc adventures games. But alas as getting older I got exposed to other games like Chuck Yaeger's Air Combat, Deus Ex, and NOLF.

I was very much an avid PC gamer until my best friend introduced me to Final Fantasy 7 on the original Playstation and that changed everything. I am trying to get myself back into the PC gaming as after being seduced by the glorious ff7 game, I stopped PC gaming for a good 10-15 years since I never would have to upgrade my system again. Well I am proud to say that I have converted a good port of my console games into the pc version and I am sure I will miss certain things like the controller but I am getting back into the swing of things.

I know my way around the computer still, to some degree, so feel free to add me and talk to me. Hell, game with me too if you want, I wont bite. My library may be intimidating and I am on my way to going through all the games. Just takes time, which I have all in the world when it comes to spending it since it helps me find balance when I miss my son.
