Like Overcooked but without the platforming. Delectable.
Still wish I could dash and throw.

While many coop shooters are "you do your thing, I'll do mine", GTFO stands out as "we do this together or we all die". And you will die a lot.

The levels are long (some 3+ hours), but this is a hidden gem of a 4-player coop shooter experience if you can stomach the punishing difficulty.

My favourite part about this game is meeting new people and chatting with them through long missions, failing, trying again (and again, and again), and eventually beating it together.

It is clearly a labour of love by Ghost Ship Games. GSG loves their players and you can feel it in every little detail in this game.

If you like coop FPS games, do yourself a favour and get it right now.

This game is absolute doggy doodoo. Do not recommend.

You probably won't like it

The warning signs were there from the latest major expansion for Vermintide 2, Winds of Magic.

Darktide, instead of being Vermintide 3 in space that I wanted, is some gaming industry "standard practice" designed to improve investor relations more than anything else--and honestly, a part of me can't blame them because of how salty some of the fanbase is.

Darktide is a good game. I enjoyed my time with it but, at least for the time being, Darktide lacks the depth of gameplay that keeps me coming back to Vermintide 2. Given the atrocious half-baked release and lackluster endgame progression, I hope FatShark will redeem itself with free updates like they did with Chaos Wastes for Vermintide 2. I have little doubt that Darktide will be a great game in the future, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but the most loyal fans of FatShark.

Vermintide with guns.

Trash game. Recommended for 30+ year old virgin degens. -10/10.
