The kapaku where OP in vanilla, and I'm not alone in this opinion as they basically had no weakness. They still have one of the better than average strategic resource gain, two good units and superior science gain than many other factions. If you need more food, you can tech accordingly. You not surviving as long might aswell be due to the AI being stronger in general.

There is a "Vanilla balance" mod in the workshop that disables all xml based balance changes (the kapaku one among them), so if you want to revert back to vanilla balance, this is the way to go.

Hey LeaderEnemyBoss, im currently playing Endless Legends with you patch installed, and i noticed that the Kapaku have become literally unplayable due to a severe lack of food. I Have never survived to reach Era 4... Is there a way to keep your patch installed but to remove the -1 food from all tiles? I mean most regions now have 2-3 food MAX...
So far i like your patch but the Kapuka seem to have been nerfed into oblivion...

You can do that, yes. The necessary .xml files are in the public folder located in your EL game directory. You will probably have more questions, I advise you to visit the official https://discord.gg/SGhjWe , which has a specialized modding help channel. You can also visit the https://discord.gg/SevVVf , which also has a modding channel.

Please keep in mind that both of these balance changes have been made with the help of the best multiplayer people around. Both factions are still considered as strong. Morgawrs midn control has been partly unnerfed, the price increase now only affect Fomorians. Kapaku had no weakness at all before (superior FISDI, science, production, one of the best era2 units), now they actually have one.

hey, enemyboss. I just finished reading all the patch notes for ELCP, and i gotta say I love 99% of it. half of the balance xmls are more like bugfixes than balance because of how much you fixed up mykara and general made more strategies viable. the only 2 things I wish i could fix for my own personal game is the hardcore buttwhooping given to the oceans/fidsi/ocean area boosts/facilities/mogwai mind control. I mean I havent played it yet so I gather they used to be quite good, but that seems like a hell of a lot of nerfs to one particular area of play that happens to be their entire "shtick". same with the volcano dudes- can only make food on volcanos, forming cost resources but get less food so most volano tiles seem to have 0 or 1 i think? is it possible for me to unnerf the fidsi yields of both things and leave the rest somehow by editing an xml or something? cause id hate to gimp one cool seeming race or give up a billion awesome changes either way :( thanks for all the work btw.

Is there any way to add something like "World Generator Full Customization" for larger/more diverse maps to the ELCP - the original WGFC mod appears to be no longer supported and crashes with the newer expansions (inferno etc...) - where on the other hand you actually are continuing to keep ELCP going

@Lukullberg this is sadly not possible since ELCP makes changes to the core files of the game, that are not supported by the normal .xml modding that can be done via steam workshop.

Is there anyway you can port over the Telekinetic Field ability from EU. I very surprise they didnt carry over ability for the vanilla xc2. Not sure how long that process could take but I will be extremely greatful
