This game is Kraken propaganda. Also very fun. Recommended.

Great Cthulhu game that made up for my disappointment in 2018 game. The combat is fun, despite what the haters say, although it's almost completely unnecessary.

The city should have been 1/4 the size, or at least let me fast travel at any time if I'm outside and not in combat. I had to look at a walkthrough because I didn't wanna miss evidence and have to backtrack 5 blocks. Another idea would be to have muggers occasionally try to ♥♥♥♥ with you on the streets to add some excitement. Also, not enough opium.

Pros:
-Very atmospheric
-Good writing
-Complex investigation system
-Fun combat

Cons:
-Game world too big, too much jogging
-Not enough opium

Bought this because I was using DarkBASIC Pro for my solo game Brigand: Oaxaca (on Steam), and I like the company. The forums on thegamecreators.com are extremely useful. This is a sweet game. I got a bug climbing up a ladder into the sky in the first 10 minutes and I have no idea how to post a screenshot on Steam.

EDIT: I, for one, believe in the ladder to heaven.

Boring ending and boring hacking minigame, but everything else is great.
