I'm just borrowing the game from the steam family due to the mixed review expectation. Now after having a decent gig to handle the requirement (which are patched), my love for the first game allows me to fully play this without reading any comments.

And what a good decision cause this is by far probably the most fun I have in a single player RPG. The pawn system are once again great with many improvement to make them feel alive. The vocation are also fun, I already maxed out 6 classes and planning to do for the others. Now, all of the games can be elevated by mods which I recommend you have before starting another playthrough.

The thing that click for me is the meta story about the whole gaming industry. Courtesy of the video "Dragon's Dogma 2 Is Not What You Think It Is" by Punk Duck. I came across the video after getting the "true" ending and right before a New game plus playthrough. That video singlehandedly make me love this game even more. I am confidently can recommend this game *with supplements (mainly the wiki and mods). But by far knowing the underlying theme make this even better than the first game and standalone on its own.

Whole-heartly recommend to anyone that come across this and will be purchasing a copy for my own library.
