Unless you buy the DLC, the game treats you like an unwanted child. Because of this reason alone I would suggest not to buy the game or the DLC.

Other than that the open world is pretty great.

Can't play properly with friends, servers keep crashing. Solo experience is smooth and has no problem but I play with friends. edit: I assume the server issues got fixed so thumbs up.

Though keep in mind that if you are a new player, you will have a very hard time getting into the community as the aren't systems in game to onboard new players, such as a mentor/student system or a system to teach older raid mechanics.
