Oxygen Not Included is a colony-simulation game, similar to RimWorld or Dwarf Fortress. But game unique point is definitely its fluid simulations. In an underground asteroid setting, you must strive to preserve oxygen level in your environment (hence, Oxygen not Included), while taking real property of gas and fluids in mind (for example, carbon dioxide is heavier than oxygen). Overall, I feel that the game is less complex than its predecessor, but in no way that is easy. It just feels more streamlined, I feel that I have achieved more in the early game of my play session, compared to RimWorld. The pressure of maintaining a well-run colony is still there, one mistake can spiral down and kills your colony.

This game makes me question my conscience/10

Buyers beware: there are many reports of bug and crash, and at the time of this review there is no official patch planned or announced yet. For me, the game runs OK with FAR (FixAutomataResolution) mod, besides two recoverable crash at the middle and the end. I am recommending this based on the experience alone. You can wait for patch that fixes everything, or use steam refund to "demo" the game. AFAIK based on all of the reports, all the irrecoverable crashes happen on the beginning of the game.
