• An interesting story enhanced by manga-style illustrations that add to the immersion. Multiple inspiration sources like Initial D and/or Fast & Furious franchise, the bosozoku lifestyle, etc. Devs even added a reference to a famous 2D fighting game !
• Different race types (drift, grip, drag, time attack, pursuit, etc.).
• A ton of different vehicles, with more to be added in the future (including Toyota or Mitsubishi).
• A really well-stocked soundtrack that allowed me to discover several interesting artists.
• Promises of additional customization to come in the future (vinyls, stickers).
• A very promising roadmap that makes you want to keep playing.


• A difficulty level that fluctuates far too much, resulting in an AI that's too random and far from perfect. For exemple, the lesson 3 in Drifting School played me... Everytime I reached the 45-50K points virtually ; the combo crash with a spin or a slam in a wall... The lesson 4 after is ridiculous too. With that foggy visibility ; I can't stay on the track properly. Everytime, I'm offroad and even on the wrong way...
• In the manga, some sentences in the speech bubbles are too small and difficult to read. Caution for visually impaired people !
• Traffic managed by the AI that adds too much extra difficulty on roads that are already very (too) winding. This is Japan, after all.
• Game menus are a bit difficult to manage/select, especially in the car parts shop. Photo mode is also a bit clunky as it actually stands.
• A story mode that's a bit too short and deserves additions (promised in the roadmap).
• The almost zero replayability of the title, which only allows you to repeat missions again and over again via your phone on the same save file (lacks a New Game+ mode or additional save slots).
