ToS changed. I will not support this developer ever again.

Regained more room in my hard drive thanks to the updated tos.

Literally Pokemon meets Ark.
A lot of these issues are starting to get extremely annoying.

Current complaints not in any real order:
*AI path finding in the base and it degrades hard on dedicated servers over time
*Pals CONSTANTLY no-clipping trough walls
*Pals CONSTANTLY getting stuck in the dumbest locations
*Child proofing base due to AI's path finding
*Bare minimum building and eye sores due to limitations AND NEEDS IMPROVED ASAP
*HOLDING F TO CRAFT
*Wild Pals phasing through base
*Locations I found you can no-clip
*No-clipping due to the server on too long without a reset
*Grenade launcher and pal attacks causing user/wild pal to no-clip (still an issue)
*Shadow pals spawning at base (on a server)

1,000+ hours.

Pros:
1. Great community and rare to find toxic players.
2. Cosmetics are not time restricted
3. Always fun even if we fail the mission.
4. They changed some animations (S5) and it look better
5. Spaghetti coding can create funny moments by sending you flying.
6. THE DEVS LISTEN TO THE COMMUNITY.

Cons:
1. Greenbeards not listening/not paying attention

Because EA can't make a good game anymore. Level design so crappy that forces you to run though the damn thing all over again if you took the wrong turn by mistake. Un-skip-able cut-scenes. Mechanics that forced to do things only one way. Do it wrong by moving slightly slower and still fail. Lame story. Constant backtracking. The fact yet again, EA forcing us to use their god d@mn launcher just to play it. It's on Steam. I don't need another god d@mn launcher just to play a game.

I'm going to have this review put in sections. My opinion will change if they make changes.

Predatory practices: They have locked basic colors and shades (white) behind a paywall that some are also time limited items. Majority of the cosmetics are locked behind a paywall as well as a limited paywall. No signs of being able to unlock cosmetics just by completing challenges like previous installments. Experience gain is next no nothing to force the consumer to pay up. Season pass with bonus is overpriced.

Weapons and gear: Most weapons are watered down versions of previous installments. It can take up to 4 shots with the shotgun point blank. So far the plasma related guns are unreliable. The mini rockets hardly deal damage. They nurfed the plasma pistol so bad that it's not longer fun to use. I can't say much with the special gear since I hardly use them to begin with. The grapple hook is fun to use and the shield wall is trash. Not sure if removing dual wielding was a good thing or a bad thing. Plasma swords and gravity hammers have become easier to dodge.

Vehicles: The warthog feels fragile compared to previous installments. The ghost feels weaker than previous installments. The banshee is trash. The chopper can't even destroy other vehicles upon ramming into them. Good luck spawning a tank. I've only seen it happen twice. The four wheeler is the only vehicle that didn't really change. Driving is iffy for the warthog and could potentially flip if you hit that blade of grass wrong.

Game modes: You can't pick which game mode you want to play resulting in players refusing to play the objective.

Hacker: Theirs already script kiddies with aim-bot.

Bots: They're dumb. I've watched (and recorded) multiple bots just stand next to a dropped flag. They will not pick up anything to help the objective.

I hope they listen to the consumers. So far this is just another free to play with paywalls and overpriced season passes that has Halo slapped on it.

Not enough content to keep me interested in the game. Too many bugs and have ran into a few crashes. Just like any other game made by R* in the modern gaming industry, wants more money out of you instead of earning things.

The short period of time I was able to play felt like I was unable to kill anyone even though I mag dumped several times on someone to have them turn around and one shot me with pinpoint accuracy. Seems a bit sus. The following day, I am trapped in the forever loading screen.

My roommate obtained an Oculus Rift not too long ago and allowed me to use it. I tried playing this game on her computer and was supper laggy. All her hardware was capable of being able to play vr and I've play other games for vr. But this game... the frame drops and clunky controlls made is very difficult to play. I had to stop because the frame rate would drop as soon as I turn my head on top of seeing solid white background. Don't reccomend until issues are fixed.
