The gameplay is actually fun when it works. Unfortunately it's another buggy mess which means you'll spend as much time restarting the game/your PC as you will in a match.

A few times the game has automatically made my QB spike the ball, even if we're 30 secs into the 1st quarter, and the only fix for this seems to be to restart your whole system...

I don't even understand how that is possible to be honest with you.

The game is great, lacks a bit of depth but it's the first iteration so no doubt will be added in future years. It's a great looking game and a great time sink with a lot of potential. Very good.

I really, really want to recommend this game, but alas I don't think I can.

Good Points
- It's Badass: I love the mini cutscenes you have where Raiden is performing awesome moves in order to kill the opponent even if they require little effort on your end.
- The Blade Mode: There isn't many better feelings than flipping over a giant Metal Gear and then ripping them to pieces in very precise places.
- The Soundtrack: The soundtrack is fantastic on this game it makes everything seem 50x more badass which is extraordinary considering how badass a lot of it already looks.

Bad Points
- The Controls: Specifically one control. Who's idea was it to put parry and light attack on the same bleeding button? It's ridiculous the amount of times I have been halfway through a series of attacks, noticed the enemy was about to attack me and tried to parry, only for Raiden to attack again resulting in me getting smashed in the face by a giant metal boot. Especially when the RB button is only used to target enemies and could be used as a parry button. Bear in mind that this is with a controller and I don't know whether it is the same on M+K.
- The Camera: The camera on this game is awful, especially during combat sequences, it can be improved by targeting the opponent but this will usually mean that you can't see where you are going unless you are running at the enemy.
- The Story: This story just doesn't interest me, it's your plain, boring 'this corporation is evil... the leader is evil... destroy the corporation...kill the CEO. BOOOOOOORING.
- No Enemy Specific Tutorials: There are lots of different enemies in MGR:R and at no point does the game explain the weaknesses of each enemy or explain how they attack, this means that beating these enemies comes down to just trial and error.
- The Frustration: All of these negatives come together to create a really frustrating game especially during the boss fights.

Therefore I cannot recommend this game because for the large majority of the time I played it I didn't enjoy myself, and I probably won't be able to complete it otherwise I will go grey and have wrinkles by the ripe old age of 19.

I love the Prototype series and having played both of them the second one is definitely the best option on console... ON CONSOLE. Prototype 2 is definitely not worth your money for the PC version, it's a shoddy port that I had problems getting to run (the game has a problem with some HID Hardware meaning that I had to unplug my keyboard in order for the game to run.) and then when it did finally work I was hovering between 30 and 40 FPS and the graphics don't warrant the game dropping below 100 let alone 40 FPS.

I can't comment on the port of the original Prototype as I have only played the second one on PC.

If you have an Xbox 360 or PS3 I would definitely recommend that you buy it for one of those machines; it provides hours of fun and an unprecedented sense of power. However avoid at all costs if you are planning to buy it on PC.

Lets be honest if you have any interest in Formula One then the likelihood is is that you already have this game. But if you don't then expect another great show from Codemasters. I really enjoy F1 2013, although saying this I feel like its not enough of an improvement to warrant dropping £40 if you already own F1 2012. The introduction of classic cars seems to me as nothing more than a distraction from the fact that other than a few fixes there has been no real change. OTHER THAN THE LOADING SCREENS! I LOVE THE NEW LOADING SCREENS! The AI can be as easily manipulated as ever and the 'arcade' handling can still be compared to other Codemasters games such as GRID. But still in terms of rules and regulations it is still a simulator. Well, kind of, although you can get away with a lot less than in other racing games there are still those moments where you pull of some kind of overtake that simply would not be allowed in the IRL sport.

Of course all the great things about F1 2012 are still in the 2013 version. The career mode is as great and detailed as ever. The Season Challenge has been refined and is still the game mode for the more 'casual' F1 champion. Although I do find that the fact you cannot implement any strategy in terms of fuel really frustrating. Why, oh why would you fill a car with 8 laps of fuel for a 5 lap race and not allow me to use a high mix? Still it isn't something that I will play a lot of as I prefer career mode but once again I can see the casual racer having a lot of fun with this much faster game mode.

Buy if you want Classic F1 cars, or if it is on offer (which it seems to be a lot) but if you want an F1 game I would recommend 2012 if it at a cheaper price.

We can all look forward to next year when the PC game isn't being held back by the Xbox 360 and PS3.

I have fallen in love with this game. It's a city builder for those who are looking for a challenge. Rather than the conventional city builder where you try to build an economic superpower in this game you have just one goal... to keep your population alive. This game is brutal and punishes mistakes like Sim City never would and despite the fact that the texture quality isn't amazing it still looks fantastic.

Oh, and I believe it was made by just one guy.

Definitely worth the £15 price-tag

A fantastically fun game whether it is playing with a friend in Co-op or on your own it's a game that you can sink a lot of time into without feeling like that that time has been wasted, its an RPG that I really enjoy and for that it should be commended.

For all that is holy, never ever play this glitchy piece of crap that has very little story of any description the fact that you can infinitely respawn really ruins the otherwise decent survival aspect of the game and in Co-op the only amount of fun that can be found is laughing at the glitch animations. I wouldn't touch this with a 10 foot barge pole, oh yeah and the story is around 10 hours long... 10 hours on a story that could probably be summed up in 10 mins (don't know for sure haven't been stupid enough to finish it yet). In my opinion this is a game that you should only buy when it is on offer and if you really, Really, REALLY like anything zombie-like. If you don't fit in these criteria do yourselves a favour and buy Borderlands... Much more fun co-op and single player.

True Freedom... Kill everything and finish the game in under 5 hours or don't kill anyone and not get seen and finish the game in under 15 hours, completely up to you... Wonderful.

Beautiful... The story, the way it looks just beautiful, worth forgiving the poor combat over.
