Picked this game up some odd years ago, it finally clicked with me!

Some might say the open world segment in the first half of the game may feel empty, maybe even mundane with a RIDICULOUSLY huge number of fetch/kill quests and long driving sequences but these moments, the long hours, the hard hours that you put in to engage with the world, fighting, adventuring, fishing, camping, photographing, THESE hours are the moments you hold onto and carry with you into the latter half of the game, when you put the controller down, and when you see those end credits.

A very enriching experience from a game with a troubled dev history, it's a shame to see that a good number of DLC was cancelled and looking back at the older trailers and gameplay reveals, you can see we got a very different version of what was originally envisioned.

Despite all that, I walk away satisfied and implore you to let the game take you on the road trip it promises, flaws and all
