Verdict/TL;DR: Great game, worth $20.00. Wait for it to go on sale, $35.00 is a bit too high.

Important: The first thing you need to know is the game is only about 16-18 hours long. I did not speed run it, I streamed it. There are bugs, but if you quicksave often none that breaks the game- the first hotfix got all the game breaking stuff. This length makes the price point a little steep for me.

The Good: The story is amazing. The combat is fantastic. The cut scenes are perfection. The village building wasn't the best but it still felt pretty damned good. You don't need to have perfect gear, since gear doesn't get "that good".

The Bad: There are bugs, and if you're not quick saving frequently, you might lose progress to a bug. There isn't a super deep gear system and some of the gear limitations (class specific) makes managing it a bit of a chore. I'm not a fan of the ending; no spoilers, I can see people loving it, but not me. At 18 hours the game really could have benefited from side missions, which there are none in the game. If they fluffed it out to 40 hours I wouldn't be upset.

TL;DR: This game has some of the best writing I've ever seen in any game. It is 100% worth it.

The comedy is top notch- I have not laughed out loud playing a game in years. This game was made by real people. What I mean by that is they have corporate speak down pact. They nail single man lifestyle. I felt so seen playing this game about super heroes.

The gameplay isn't particularly challenging. According to post-episode stats I am an outlier which I found bizarre so this game might be somewhat challenging for some but for me it was a fun and relaxing ride through a great story.

I've played episodes 1-4, 4-8 are not out yet. Other than being an unfinished story at the moment, this game is certainly worth its price tag.

If you're looking for a solid single player RTS this is fairly good. The unit variety is solid and the spawning system is refreshingly different.

It doesn't really feel asymmetric with Russians relying on barrage and wave tactics like they do and instead they play very much like the Americans do.

At launch the game only has two factions but there are already the foundations for a few new nations to be added soon. For example the Leopard is in game despite neither Russians or Americans using the.

If you really enjoy RTSs buy the game now. If you dabble wait for a few more factions to be added or for the game to go on sale.

If you use a soundcard this game will not work. My headset requires a soundcard with 300 ohm output to function so I can't just plug it in somewhere else. I've used soundcards for at least the last 10 years and haven't had an issue like this.

Otherwise I can't comment on the game, I immediately refunded. Might still be fun but I wanted to give a warning.

I have played this game for 266 hours. I'm not yet done. If that isn't the best recommendation I can give I don't know what else to say. I've been waiting 10 years for this game, most of those years not knowing if they were making it and Warhorse absolutely delivered again.

KCD was my #1 all time game. I really hate that I have to now put KCD #2 because KCD2 is now #1.

Solid sequel to the first game! The lower difficulties let you feel like a true Space Marine and the higher difficulties give you a almost souls-like challenge. Game runs great and looks great. Honestly one of the most visually coherent games that gets you looking for details. Solid GOTY contender.

I only have 2 hours, I was waiting for more content to play more. Then Sony up and made it so I'll never play again. I'm not making, then dealing with logging into another service. I haven't bought or played a game through steam that required that in a very long time. Because I've owned it since launch I can't refund it.

I cannot recommend enough you avoid this game. The rug pull and deceit is too much.

Buy it.

In its current EA state the game had about 12-15 hours of content- even for a multiplayer game. That 12 - 15 is solid though. More content will make the difference, as long as they don't introduce bugs. Either way, for the price, you should buy it anyways.
