I'll never complete this, definite skill and rage issue. It's a £20 game that'll end up costing me hundreds to replace a broken controller, monitor or window. Having said that, I enjoyed the time I have spent playing it, the graphics are lovely, the controls for the most part are good, but after finally completing the yellow cave climb, I ended up just hating the game.

I'll keep this quick; I don't like the game. I've spent a reasonable amount of time playing it, and I want to like it, I just don't... I don't honestly think there's much the devs could change to make me change my mind either. It's just lacking polish with the UI, and overall it's just a bit boring tbh. On paper this should have been a great game for me. Maybe I'll come back to it again one day.

It's not often I take the time to write a review, but this game has been so much fun throughout. Every time I got comfortable, yet another surprise (often completely random and unexpected) pops up. So many things to do!

The art style is great, the animation's and cutscenes are so much fun. Free DLC too! This is genuinely a top-tier game. I'll be following these devs closely. I'm hoping for a Dave the Diver 2, but I'm sure whatever they release next will be fantastic too!

I got this cheap, and I'm glad it was. The game is OK, the racing is quite fun, but the police are just insane - it sucks all the fun out of it. I don't mind a good chase, but I've found it basically impossible to escape a heat 3 chase.
Also one of the characters is terrible. Without giving too much away, this person wrecks someone's car, then makes them out the be the bad guy.

This is one of the very few games I've managed to get my gf to play, but it's the ONLY one where SHE has asked ME if I want to play.

She struggled a lot at first, she's never played anything other than platformers and a little bit of VR (reluctantly), but she started to get the hang of it. There were definitely moments where I had to be very patient, but I was pleased for her when she felt she'd accomplished something.

To the devs; you did a great job with this game. I thought the gameplay was great, it was very creative. My other half said many times how cool various parts of the game were. I think she may now finally understand why I'd rather play a game than watch TV. I also spent way more time than I should with the grooveboxes, as someone who's spent a lot of time in FL Studio, this was not something I could just rush. I'd made a banging loop before I'd let us move on :-D

Anyway, we've just completed it and now she's asking to play A Way Out. Hopefully by the end of that she'll be ready for Split Fiction...

Played it for a few hours in one sitting since buying it. I’d still be playing now if I didn’t get dragged out to go shopping with the other half. Gameplay is fun and challenging in places. Reminds me of FTL but without the crew. Nice to see the many Stellaris assets and references. I’m enjoying the upgrades both run and permanent. This might be my new go to game when I don’t want to play anything too heavy.

I've played a lot of this game, for a year or two now on and off. The latest full release has a lot of nice features and it's a definite gameplay improvement (although there's still much to do).

The problem for me at least right now, is just the number of bugs.. I'll get issues where officers repeatedly report food that's gone off to the point where I'll basically have no food left (the issue is not the food, it's the officer and the only option is to disband him). Sometimes I'll be unable to control a character, the camera will be embedded in the ship or something. Letting an officer man the desk gun usually ends up in random crew deaths for whatever reason. The list kind of goes on.

Usually it's not this bad, and the game is generally enjoyable. The last two nights however have just ruined it for me, it's been a frustrating mess. It's uninstalled, I'll think about trying it again in a few months.

I've only played the first chapter, but wow what a cool concept. The art style and narration are great too! I should have played this a long time ago!

I really thought I'd like this, but I just didn't. The cartoon intro's were quite good, and the art style was really nice, but the game is just boring and the campaign is so short.

There's a map editor, but an hour in and I'm not going to take a chance on that. Refunded.

Maybe if there's more content later I'll reconsider and buy again, but meh.

I'm playing this in VR and I cannot do it justice by explaining in words, or even uploading a video to YouTube just what an amazing experience this game is. If you ask people have they played Tetris, they most likely will say 'yes'. If you ask them did you enjoy it, they'll probably say 'yeah sure, I mean it's alright...'.

For me, this game is an amazing audio and visual experience, with a Tetris game thrown in for good measure. It's also a GOOD Tetris game, with nice mechanics.

This game is firmly in my top 3 for VR experiences.
