This is not a full release at all. Carriers for example have been completely disabled from jumping, leaving a lot of players stranded in distant systems unable to go back to the bubble.

The performance is very mediocre when in the ground. My RTX 2080ti was pushing around 60-70fps in the tutorial, which is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ low in 1080p. You can imagine how weaker cards handled this.

The game has many crashes to desktop. POIs (points of interest) in many systems have been removed. Many menus soft lock you out of the game.

This is a Beta, make no mistake. Do not buy it at this moment. Right now you'd be paying for a graphical update, which is indeed very beautiful. But that's not what we paid for.

I've had this game since 2013 being a beta backer. Planetary tech rework was promised back in mid 2017 and nowhere was it supposed to be tacked in with a DLC. I know they're launching the engine update when they do for consoles, but why? Isn't this blatantly obvious that it's in an unfinished state, considering they need the rest of the year to get this stuff done?

Don't fool yourselves. This can't be recommended in it's current state.

Reskin of MOWAS.

In fact, they've been reskining this game for over a decade, and people still buy it.

Dont buy it. They are all reskins of the same game. Stop.

EDIT: The game has now officially launched.

It's still a reskin of Men of War games. No promissed new animations. All they did was add a first person mode and other (in my opinion) irrelevant stuff to the game.

They've been reskinning games for over 12 years. Stop buying games from them.
