this game made me realize a lot about myself. i don’t really relate to hinako (most badass SH protag tho, no question) but i do empathize with her. somehow i ended up relating more to kotoyuki(AKA fox mask)… which, yeah, sounds weird until you get the true ending. getting the true ending (ryukishi07 pls) was such a slog but also felt worth it. it turned into this kinda personal, introspective thing where i was like—oh, so that’s also one of my flaws, and that's why hinako feels trapped. not that i didn’t already know, but it just hit different.

i hope you see yourself in this game, it’s cathartic as hell. it's about our traumas, traditions, the dumb morals we used to control others (and ourselves). therapeutic ass game.

not a game for everybody. however, for the rare few it resonates with, i can say this is one of the most beautiful things ive experienced.

Wish i knew beforehand that defibrillators dont work like that in real life, otherwise pretty solid game. just need some ibuprofen now
