Wonderful, thrilling experience throughout my 15 hour first run. I've never played the first silent hill 2, but as a huge resident evil fan this game had my attention the entire time. It felt like a mix between resident evil 2 and 7, with a little bit of slenderman sprinkled in. I only have two complaints, and they're both pretty minor: first, the game could be optimized a bit better. I don't have the highest end pc but I was consistently getting around 40fps even on low settings; second, some of the mechanics are way too repetitive (such as putting James' hand in a creepy hole) - these moments are cool the first time but after the 4th or 5th time they just get old. Overall I had a blast playing this game and I look forward to ng+ and beyond.
