the controls are actually the worst ever made into a game, i shouldnt have to watch a youtube video about how to pull my sword back out, not to mention having to rebind my keys since i dont have function buttons, but anyways yea its alright but it feels like UE5 slop to me

This game has a good gameplay loop, good graphics, and the plot is understandable with a variety of characters. I was having trouble getting the raven girl satisfied and it took too long so i lost my bonar.

overall a good story experience, pretty good graphics, and the characters have a lot of depth to them. I would not be opposed to a sequel

-Guard says "Damn you're ugly now I know why you walk around in the dark" and laughs in my face

2K was a HUGE part of my life growing up, I started in 2k14, got scammed every year all the way till 2k21. It was my entire highschool, like I played a LOT of 2k, and I was very competitive.
Its almost euphoric seeing the fall from grace that this game is having. I AM glad that TakeTwo FINALLY gave PC a next gen version of the game, but it still sucks.
I saw a developer tweet that something like the more realistic it is, the harder it is to make it fun. I could cry about the same things that have been plaguing this game for well over 5-10 years, the INSANE incentive to buy VC, they have been doing this forever its not news.
The game looks good. I personally only play mycareer. I dont think I want to touch park or 5s due to cheaters. I could write like a 50 page essay on how ♥♥♥♥ this game is, but im sure you could do that every single year for every single 2k that comes out.
But the kicker is, THIS IS THE ONLY BASKETBALL SIM ON THE MARKET THAT IS DECENT. There are no other choices and they are doubling down on that by making everything SUPER expensive like its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous. I love basketball, and i used to love 2k, coming home from school and streak at the park with my boys having fun. Its a damn shame where this game is now, and I personally think that its a huge internal problem, maybe with management, maybe with some of the community managers that have been bullshitting since they got the job, like Ronnie.
I hope they, or someone, just makes a good basketball game
