Commandos Origins is a great strategy game.

It is structured like the classic first three installments. The player commands a small squad, each member has special abilities. While in the first installments it was a good idea to lure enemies into a safe ambush with one character, this time the new command mode allows you to eliminate groups of enemies with your squad simultaneously.

It is also nearly the same difficulty as in the first parts, but a clear recommendation for strategy fans.

Gear Club Unlimited 2 is a beautiful arcade racing game that reminds me Gran Turismo 1 and Need for Speed ​​Porsche.

Elden Ring is a fantastic role-playing game and arguably the biggest and most challenging Dark Souls.

The vast open world invites the player to countless explorations where there is much to discover. It's incredibly rewarding to uncover secret paths and new areas.

Overall, it's the best game in the series and in the genre of role-playing games.

Ready or Not is a tactical shooter game in the style of Sierra's former SWAT 3 & 4 games.

You can select all of your equipment before a mission, including many details regarding its appearance. However, new equipment is only unlocked after successfully completing missions at a certain rank.

The missions can be difficult at first, but you'll remember the difficult points by repeating them. To get to grips with all the details of a mission, it's recommended to play it in single-player first, where you can also plan the entire tactical approach of the task force.

Overall, it's SWAT 5, even if the mission presentation could have been a bit more atmospheric, with short intro videos, for example, but it's still a definite recommendation.

Dungeon Warfare is a very nice tower defense strategy game in which you have to stop a horde of invading heroes in each level.

To achieve this goal, you have a variety of traps and weapons at your disposal and combining them in the right places leads to success.

There are a lot of levels and if they aren't enough for you, you can create your own.

Ports of Call Classic is a very nice economy based strategy game in which you take over the management of your own shipping company.

Buying the right ships, calculating the most profitable freight routes and also small ship mini-games keep the player busy for a very long time. For me, the game was a holiday filler on my first computer in the 1990s.

The game runs smoothly on modern systems and is a clear recommendation.

Monster Hunter Rise is a very good action role-playing game. You start with simple hunts in which you are introduced to the game system and the combat mechanics.

These hunts become challenging later on and the battles getting more exciting, but there is a suitable strategy for every monster with every type of weapon. No matter which technique you choose, they are all fun.
The players also have the ability to tame and ride monsters during battles, which is a very entertaining feature, but also very useful if you have a quest to defeat 2 or more monsters in a single adventure.

There are also countless outfit and customization options for the character, which are unlocked by the game progression.

F1 2024 is a very good simulation racing game that includes both F2 2023 and the current F1 2024 season.

First, each vehicle has individual handling, which also changes with the upgrades. I haven't noticed this as much in previous titles as I have in this part.

The vehicles tend to break out, which is most similar to the driving model of F1 2010. If you've played F1 2010 without any driving assistance, you'll find clear parallels in the handling here.
It takes a few hours to get used to, but it also helps if you know how to catch a vehicle that's breaking out, briefly tap the brake or countersteer, or both, with a gentle burst of acceleration. Depending on the situation, you have to weigh it up, but since F1 2010, this has hardly been as necessary as it is here.

Overall, the graphics, the atmosphere, the real radio messages from the drivers, the handling and also the soundtrack make the game the best since F1 2010 for me and therefore a recommendation.

Cold Waters is an excellent submarine simulation including the hunting submarines of the modern era.

The campaigns have different levels of difficulty and also different scenarios. The submarine simulation is challenging and requires a high level of concentration. The game can be difficult at first, but after a while you get a good overview of the units.
Between the dynamic campaign missions, short illustrations and newspaper articles are shown, which gives a good immersion of the scenario progression.
