Loads of fun, if you happen to like this sort of thing. Potentially amusing for a few levels even if you don't.

Without a doubt, AI War is the best strategy game I have ever played.

Once you get past the intimidating complexity, you find an incredible depth and variety of gameplay. The interface is incredibly slick and a lot of effort has gone into filing off the rough edges and minimising unnecessary micromanagement.

AI War really shines in multiplayer, too. The gameplay experience is the same, but you get to fight alongside your friends to defeat the galaxy-wide AI menace. If you're new to the game, multiplayer with someone more experienced is also a fantastic way to get up to speed and pick up a few tricks to help ensure your eventual victory.
