Going to try ignore all the gatcha BS talk going around. Be aware that yes, it's a gatcha game and all the uglyness that entails, but besides that... it's pretty good so far!

The game is obviously not as good as Persona 5, but for a free to play games a service, it does it's job really well. I'm comparing it mostly to Star Rail, and so far i love the level design and how the daily life works. All the usual Persona daily life things to do are around, and in a game like this where you log in daily to do your dailies and whatnot, that translates pretty nicely, as you can do some daily activities each day and log out.

The gameplay is a lot more janky than regular Persona, and it's balanced differently as you'd imagine, but it works, and the auto mode works way better than most. I don't mind it, but i'm here more for the story, the vibes and the daily life, and if you are too, you'll probably have a good time. Can't talk for how it will hold up later when the endgame comes out, but i plan to play it chill and mostly focus on the main story.
