If you liked Return of the Obra Dinn & Curse of the Golden Idol, you'll love this. I do think that it can suffer from the "shuffle attributes until you get it right / rub keywords into all the search boxes"; but I think that's an issue with the genre.

If you're using a controller, you'll want to make sure that you've got easy access to the keyboard (Home + X or whatever works for you) - this game doesn't yet open the keyboard on selecting a text box but the developer will apparently work on it. I've played 7 hours so far, and it was all via an Xbox controller with some careful steam input remapping. I would love the ability to pan the tree via arrow keys though, that'd make remapping easier.

A fun little platformer, and just surfing around is plenty fun, but the combat is pretty dry and feels incomplete.

For instance, there's BOTW styled bullet-time which as far as I can tell, never becomes relevant.

If you want a easy, low stress platformer with windwaker vibes, this is a definite buy.
