less long story: you'll either love it or you'll hate it. it is a walking simulator in the BEST way possible, but the tag itself is flawed. the mechanics, world, and story pulled me in and didnt let go. and the soundtrack... my god how perfect it is. the songs by low-roar and the silent poets come in at the most beautiful times and ofc woodkid is on the director's cut soundtrack too. if you're not sure if its for you then give it a try and the first 2 hours should be enough for you to get and idea if the game is for you or not and you'll be able to refund it lol

long story:
went into it not expecting too much and ended up playing it over the course of a month and a half, which ended up being one of the toughest times in my life.
the game mechanics ended up being sort of meditative for me( leaving out the BT-s, mules, and the war beaches which i found stressful and too difficult at times ), the story pulled me into wanting to know more and more and while it has some pacing issues in some part then i still found all the missions, even the padding ones, at least somewhat compelling and just fun to do, but that probably comes back to the WALKING , multiplayer aspects/features, vehicles, the equipment, combat, and the world itself being just so well done and thought through and just beautiful. i cannot wait until ds2 comes to pc since i am not getting an entire console just for one game, but until then i'll keep on replaying it from time to time and i've started a non-online playthrough without almost any hud and im enjoying it even more:)

Fun game to play with your friends, plus it is OVERLOADED with gamemods!
