I really don't understand how the creators of Borderlands utterly fail at making Borderlands.

TLDR: Weapons feel incredibly unsatisfying, enemies are meatshields that take too many bullets to kill, the worldmap just feels like SUCH a missed opportunity and only serves to slow the game down which is a problem when it's already a slog.

The few positives that are here, like the writing being funny at times and the character customization alongside the different classes doesn't outweigh the slow burn to boredom that is the main gameplay loop.

Skip this one and just play any of the Bordelands games instead, at least there the pew pew was fun.
