Stepping back into the boots of the Doom Slayer, you’ll find a familiar loadout from DOOM 2016, but this time, everything is cranked up to 11. The mechanics are absolutely insane, allowing for acrobatic maneuvers, fluid weapon swaps, and high-speed carnage that keeps every encounter fresh and exhilarating. Of course, no DOOM experience would be complete without an absolute banger of a soundtrack, and Doom Eternal delivers. The pulsating metal score fuels the chaos, making every fight feel like a brutal symphony of destruction. For me, this game isn’t just an FPS, it’s my favorite aim trainer. With its breakneck speed and precision-based combat, Doom Eternal forces you to master accuracy, reflexes, and movement, skills that will elevate your gameplay in just about any other shooter. Mastering it isn’t just satisfying, it’s a rite of passage for FPS fans.

Manhunt is one of Rockstar Games’ most underrated and controversial masterpieces. A stealth-based survival game wrapped in the twisted premise of being the unwilling star of a snuff film, it delivers an intensely brutal and immersive experience unlike anything else. You have two choices: creep through the shadows and execute your enemies in gruesome fashion or, if you’re feeling reckless, fight your way through each stage head-on (though this approach is far from ideal). The game also offers awesome cheat codes to boost your high scores, making it highly replayable for those aiming for perfection. And once you’ve finished the story, there are side modes that add even more content to keep you hooked. That said, Rockstar has failed to give us a proper, functional release of the game, meaning you’ll run into one of its many anti-piracy triggers just minutes into the first level. Thankfully, there’s an easy fix; the Manhunt Fixer by ermaccer on GitHub. This tool not only patches every issue plaguing this version but also adds quality-of-life improvements, mod support, and customization options to enhance the experience. While it’s frustrating to need a third-party fix, it’s a small price to pay to fully enjoy this cult classic in all its grim, unapologetic glory.

Resident Evil 4 isn’t just one of my favorite games of all time; it’s a timeless masterpiece. As one of the most ported games in history, it has managed to stay relevant even 20 years later, proving that true classics never age. I’ve 100% completed this game on nearly every platform it’s been released on (excluding the mobile version), and I don’t regret a single second of the time I’ve poured into it. With its awesome unlockable weapons, thrilling side modes, and endlessly satisfying gameplay, RE4 is the definition of replayability. While the game is incredible on its own, the modding community takes it even further. If you’re planning to play on PC, I highly recommend installing RE4 Tweaks from Nexus Mods. It significantly improves movement, interactive mechanics, and overall quality of life, while offering plenty of customization options to enhance the experience. No matter how many times I return to Resident Evil 4, it never gets old. It’s not just a game; it’s a legend.
