This is easily one of my top 5 VNs, and one I blew through in about a week. (The time is because I kept leaving it idling, oops) I know that a lot of people got upset because this is a so-called "all ages" release, but removing the explicit scenes didn't hurt it in my eyes.

Going in, I expected to be disappointed in the writing of at least one case, given the setup being similar to The House in Fata Morgana and having struggled with one of the segments in that. I'm glad to say that that never happened here, and I was drawn in to each case, though Case 3 was the one I felt the least attachment to personally. But I also relate really heavily to the characters of Rin Hatano and Y, so take that as you will. But even with that being the weakest case for me I thoroughly enjoyed myself reading through it. Each part of the story had excellent pacing, and the ending ultimately did feel satisfying. The bonus scenarios were a wonderful addition and didn't overstay their welcomes.

Overall I'd really, really recommend reading this to anyone who's a fan of 'against all odds' love stories and would even say that being spoiled wouldn't deter from the overall experience.

I got into this for the music, and the gameplay is amazing and I love it and I'm obsessed with this game now
