A amazing game. There is a great feeling of underlying community and fun, even all these years later. The range of skill in this game is just massive, and admittedly can make it daunting for new players to get started, especially if most of the people playing have 1000+ hrs at this point. The learning curve is infinite, and this leads to amazing depth of game play. If time is the test of a video game's quality, tf2 is gold. I have played Comp. Highlander and it has made my opinion of TF2 go from one of "this is a fun goofy game" to a mindset of "this game is fun and goofy but man, is there soooo much more room to improve as a player". I still think TF2 is best played casually tho. If you have not tried tf2 or have had it uninstalled for a while I recommend you come and give it a go. The bots are thankfully gone and the game is at its best right now (at least in the last 10 years). I also recommend you try comp if you have played TF2 for a while already, UGC and RGL are 2 good leagues to start with. You will not be disappointed.
