Dear Gods, no.
Played the single player aspect, and it blew me away on how little has been put into it. The tank models are seemingly arbitary, as T34 tanks were one shotting Tiger 1 tanks in the Kursk scenario. In fact, I made all the Russian tanks T34s and the German tanks Tigers, and the the Russians won !
Literally placed 8 rounds onto the hull of ione of them and it just moved the the life bar down incrementally.
So, not accurate in the ballistics department, lol

Enemy artillery is super accurate and the enemy knows where you are at all times, so the only tactic is to keep moving, which is problematic should you come across another tank, because the barrel wobble is effectively turkey slapping, becoming stable once you stop. And then the artillery kills you.

AI team mates will drive right up behind you and try to shoot the enemy tanks - through you naturally.

Did not play the multiplayer copmponent, but given how bad the single player is, I'm not prepared to waste any more time with it.

The options are: keyboard controls.
No graphics, sound, or anything you might have seen in other games.
It's pretty much someones weekend project that they have released onto Steam

All in all, I could not recommend this to anyone, it's atrocious.

Look at the trailer - doesn't look like it'll be a lot of fun ? Yeah nah. That's a completely different game you're watching.

Having played Operation Flashpoint many years ago, and enjoying it for its accuracy, and then the ARMA series, with varying levels of disappointment, I thought ARMA Reforger would have been an improvement, and in a way it is - but for the AI mostly.

Happily, the extremely clunky interface has gone and replaced with a modern UI, and the maps are still accurate and excellent.
After one contact, where I foolishly drove into a town, and then rapidly across the countryside, as Soviet troops (very quickly) opened fire on me, I eventually found myself coming to a halt on a track, looking at a stream (running from left to right), a telegraph line and a farm house. With that information, and the compass, I could pinpoint where I was on the map.
That's professional level Ordnance Survey standard of cartography, right there.
Set in a time long before Google/Apple Maps and cellphones, when calculator wristwatches were the height of cool, knowing how to read a map was a common(ish) skill, and of course, still in use today with modern militarises.
So, super happy to see that they'd kept that in.

Giddy with this revelation, I decide to recon the next town. So, in the pouring rain, with darkness falling, I crawled 150m in dead ground to a vantage point in some bushes.
Bear in mind, this is before NVGs were common place, and certainly not issued out to Soviet infantry troops. And yet, the crack and thump of incoming fire from the town started. Not even being able to see muzzle flashes to acquire targets, I was killed within 10 seconds. Hmm, I think to myself. Maybe it was a lucky shot. (that's not what I actually thought, but the review is getting too long already)
Turns out, the Soviet troops have eyes like hawks, and can spot you several hundred metres away, even in the treeline. I'd be detected, regardless of depth of cover within a few minutes. I guess I should have known better than to wear my neon camo hat that day.

In fact, the scenarios either ended dying because I got sick of constantly trying to evade Soviet forces and stared returning fire, or on the rare occasions where I'd win an engagement, the game would promptly crash.
Not once, but on eight separate occasions. And this is a base install, no mods at all.
Kinda takes the fun out of it, when the game starts acting churlish when you actually win.

Now, your experience may vary, and I sincerely hope they do, because 2.5 years after release is enough time to ensure your game doesn't crash. I mean, even Cyberpunk 2077 got fixed in that time, and it was the poster child for borked release until the Rockstars absolutely munted remaster was so bad, in comparison it made the Toxic Avenger look like a Cabbage Patch Kid and made us all want to burn the entire Green St Gang with fire.

I digress. I really want to love this game, and some parts of it, I want to make babies with I am already delighted with. but this is like that weirdly intense girl that gets your kink, explores it deeply with you and ten minutes after, is trying to burn the house down. Yeah, don't pretend you don't know.

Now, I was playing the Scenario element, which is pure PvE, so the Co-Op elements or the PvP may have hidden gems that I have not yet discovered.
But the Scenarios just sucked. And as BI are (or were) former military, I'd expected better.
I am going to re-explore ARMA Reforger, to see if it can redeem my experience with it, but until the crashes stop, it gets a negative review.

Update: OK, so Scenarios are designed for several people, so jumped into the Instant Action instead.
Jesus Christ, what a fcking mess. First attempt, killed the commander with a headshot. Game refuses to acknowledge, and still getting barks to kill him, whilst I'm looking at his lifeless body.
Then the game freezes, and had to F4 my way out of it. Next attempt has them engaging barely out of the spawn point. Lying flat gets me killed quickly, so the next attempt, I stay standing up.
Takes them 3 minutes to hit me even once, despite heavy fire. I am not making this up.

This isn't a game, it's a farce.
BI, you've used up any goodwill that OPF had, never buying any of your shoddy crap again.

The Titan OST is a very laidback chill soundtrack, you could easily put it on your phone or MP3 player and just zone out.
In fact, this is my first and only soundtrack review, because it is just full of languid easy tones, that just gently ebb over your eardrums. It's almost like having a Lazy Sunday soundtrack in the game.

krapka;KOMA is a female duo band from Ukraine and can be found in the usual spots, but I'm heading over to Bandcamp to see what else this talented duo have produced, all whilst being under attack from Russia.
Maybe Putin needs to listen to this soundtrack, chill the fck out and remember what love for his fellow man is.

Embarrassing to have this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in my library.
Played it years ago, only to be disgusted at the clunky movement of this 'master of shadows' who has all the agility of an arthritic bulldog. A decade later, played it again, only to be reminded of how terrible this 'game' is.
It's listed as a stealth game, but it's really a platformer, with combat as a penalty for being inattentive.
Should you get too close to a guard, then you are suddenly locked into combat, something you as a 3ft goblin with tiny arms are at a distinct disadvantage. In fact, you'll find you'll not be able to even land a blow on your opponent, but they will cut you down in two strokes.
But this is a stealth game, right ? No, ♥♥♥♥ no. Once you're in combat, you have no ability to break combat, such as roll away, throw blinding dust, or any other mechanism that EVERY OTHER EFFING STEALTH GAME HAS.

Instead, you'll die. And die. And die. And die. And die.
Even if you were not wanting to attack the guard, once you're in proximity of an alerted guard, you're locked into a fight. Also, the other guards can have a free chop at you, whilst you're in this locked combat, so thankfully it's over soon.

Now I get that this is a penalty of being careless, but in some circumstances, it's completely unavoidable, and does nothing to add to the overall experience except lengthen the play time. But not in an enjoyable fashion.

It also breaks good design, as this game should encourage you to be explorative throughout the level, without excessive penalty. Instead, any curiousity is quickly chopped off you, and you just end up wanting to finish the damn mission and be done with it.

There are many excellent stralth games out, including the venerable Splinter Cell. This game does not even come close to that calibre, and I'm already looking for forward to deleting this crap from my library.
Now *that* will be satisfying.

Don't bother.
Looks nice, but has all the fun mechanics of being repeatedly gang r*ped. If you start making any progress, the game will teleport Okkar fighters right behind you to wipe you out. Or if you decide to run, because you can't handle 8 fighters, then put a Corvette between you and the jump gate, killing you with two shots.
Git gud ? Git fcked.
Literally is the manifestation of the question "Why am I still wasting my time on this sh!t?"

Unnecessarily cluttered HUD, and overcomplicated action rules from the start.
Unfortunately, the worst sin is that is it boring, so much so, I fell asleep during the initial fight.. For fans of the Necromunda setting, this may have more value, but I couldn't get into it and was not interesting enough to pursue, and I've been playing strategy games since Jagged Alliance.

Get it on special, play it and make your own decision, but don't expect greatness. Best thing for me about this game is that it got me a discount on Space Marine Tactics

What an absolute waste of time.
I've honestly played OCD pixel click games from the 1990's that were far superior to this crap; Commandos is an easy example that comes to mind.
First mission, you get tasked with having to:

- arm your soldiers at a nearby OP
- take out 3 Hueys and/or pilots
- clear an FOB
- escape in trucks

All well and good.
Except the soldiers refuse to follow orders, RPGs and grenade launchers have a very limited range of only 50m, and the AI instantly knows where you are once combat starts, even if you've split the team up and are heavily camouflaged.

Adding to that fun, the soldiers with the grenade launchers simply refuse to use them, and will switch back to the firearm. In order to get them to use the damn thing, I had to remove every other weapon from their inventory, get them to use the GL, and then run back and pick up their firearm again. Key tactical tips, right there.

AI barks are in their native language, which is a nice touch, I suppose, but I had to guess what they were saying as there was no localisation audio, and I'm not fluent in Vietnamese or Russian.
And yet the cut scenes reverted to heavily accented English.
So why the hell didn't they just do the barks in English as well, or at least allow for localisation to be turned on/off. That seems like such an easy thing to have been picked up in QA.

Anyway, once you get to the trucks, they're broken, so you have to then leave the village (after taking an hour to clear it), and go find a boat. You dutifully clear the squad guarding the sampan, only to find it needs fuel.
Of course it does. Why else would there be a squad guarding it.

Righto 1c, you can just feck right off now, as you're simply taking the piss.
It was at this point I realised I'd compromised far too much already for this game, and promptly uninstalled it, and can confidently say it will never be installed again.
There are many, many excellent strategy games out there, and I heartily encourage you to go and enjoy them.
Just know that this isn't one of them.

To be clear, this isn't a combat simulation, it's just a courier sim with weapons.

EDIT: (29/12/21)
Since I wrote this review, the latest patch from Sabre has added in Oceania servers, and the game play has been improved. I've removed the negative score, and updated the commentary to reflect the current games state.
TL:DR: It's fun

If you love L4D style games, this is an excellent game.
Graphically, the cities, player models and environments look quite good, and give a sense of atmosphere, whether you are prowling the streets of New York, or skulking through a foggy graveyard in Rome.
Audio is likewise good, with recognisable sound effects from L4D and Dead Island.
Gameplay is smooth, the guns feel 'right', and the zombies are just as nimble as their L4D counterparts, sometimes more so.
More than once, a zombie would run at me full speed, hunched over to avoid getting headshotted like the rest of the horde. They also have the same mechanism as L4D, where they will often run behind you to attack, causing you to frequently do a 360 melee spin to clear them off.

The maps are quite large, detailed and the loot spawns are random, so it's not guaranteed that the same defences or weapons will be there next time. Ammo resupplies are fairly constant in their spawn areas, but you might find that the gap between them is too large, especially if the Director is happy to see you and sends lots of zombies to come hug and kiss you. For some maps, you may have to melee through the trash mobs, and shoot the hordes.

There is a progression system for weapons and perks, based on XP points gained from missions, regardless of whether you were successful or not. You'll find yourself levelling up quite quickly after a few hours, and increasing the addons and magazine capacity of your weapons.
There is also several class systems (gunslinger, demo, medic, etc) that you can level up in, making the team loadout much more varied and with a decent allocation of complimentary skills. This, of course, adds in replayability as you might want to main as the team medic or drone specialist on harder levels

Overall the feel is very consistent, and if you've played these games before, it'll be like slipping on a pair of comfortable shoes
Would have no hesitation is recommending it to a friend. Hello, Steam friend.
