Hotline Miami 2 is basically everything you didn't get in hotline miami explained via a crazy amount of characters.
Being both a prequel and a sequel hm2 is a dense addition to the original hm universe.
I warn you that in every sense hm2 is a lot thicker than the first one, there are far more missions, A LOT more characters and it takes more time to complete, along with having a plot that's extremely convoluted.
After finishing it the first time you will probably still have some doubts about the overall plot, I used an online explaination to better understand it.
Also the Ost is a lot better than hm's (which was already good to begin with)
If you liked the first one and you're starving for more then this game won't let you down
Also, Beard and Richter are the best boys, keep that in mind

Hotline Miami is
It simply is itself, I can barely compare it to any other game I've played
At the beginning I snobbed it because I felt it was just some nonsense violent game, and I was KINDA right.
But more in the way that nonsense means hard to understand
Hotline Miami's plot is as thick and abstract/metaphorical as it can get, and You will play 70% of the game thinking "well I'm not getting what's this all about but hell I like it a lot.
If the story is really good the fighting system is also really fun to play and to master, mixing together in an extremely worth gaming experience
You have no excuses it's on sale almost always and it requires about 7 hours to finish, just get it

I don't like lore-intense games, but.. this.
I've bought grim dawn about 2 years ago when it was on discount
back then I only played for 25 hours reaching about less than a third of the story, then dropped it because it was a bit boring
How much was I wrong
During these holidays I played it again from the very beginning and holy damn, it's so good.
Even for a person that doesn't like games that revolve more around the lore than around the gameplay I loved this with all my heart. Excellent character customization, fantastic design from monsters to characters and even for the setting.
And the story
The story is something else (in a good way!), I won't spoil anything because trust me, there is a LOT to discover and the story shapes along with your journey.
If you're not sure yet about buying this or not, do it
But keep in mind that this is a type of game that requires dedication and time to fully appreciate

Ah yes, Ulgrim is the best boy

This is one of the best games I've played lately, but like every game, it has perks and cons.
Pros:
It' s a really smooth and funny game that can get you stuck in hours playing
There are a bit of things to learn in order to play efficiently, but after some pratice and learning it's all fun and games
Basically, its gameplay is something that goes from terraria to the binding of Isaac, with really nice results
I must give an huge shout out to the dev
Yeah, the Dev, because this game was developed and published by a single person, and let me say
♥♥♥♥, you did something amazing.
Cons:
There are really few players that play this, so, to experience multiplayer to the full I suggest gifting it to your friends yourself (It costs really nothing in comparison to a lot of games)
Sadly, the one man army thing gives the game some flaws.
There are still some bugs in the game and it won't have any other updates in the future
I'm not complaining about the bugs, but you can feel a small lack of content (for example in the number of endgame weapons, there are only about 4 swords and some other miscs.)
magic weapons are kinda limited and some enemies are a bit broken
If I'm saying this it's only because I still see an huge amount of potential here, not because I don't like the overall game.

In the end, buy it and try it for yourself, it's really cheap
If you like platforms and rogue-likes, I promise you won't regret it

It's more powerful than a drug
at least overwatch bothers you after a bit and has cheap mechanics, this game instead will be good everytime you come back and has mechanics that actually make your skill count, really the worst
And we're not even talking about the wholesome community around it, bleah

Mhh..what to say?anything because this is best game ever for several motivations:
1-rpg part:it has all the things and mechanics that an rpg need:bosses(one-two dozen)a LOT of mobs (both enemies(like 200 pre-1.3)and critters),many npcs,an awesome number of weapons.
2-building part:terraria has a lot of blocks and furnitures for make EVERY building you can think about
3-survival? the best thing terraria has is this:difficulty,at the character creation you can chose softcore,mediumcore and hardcore but it doesn't count anything,simply beacusse in every mode you chose this game is EXTREMELY difficult:every boss needs the best equipment u can acquire for that boss(every boss is like a milestone,after one you can obtain new items and things in a specifical boss orders.
Don't judge this rewiew for my playin' hours of this game,i made a terrible mistake without wich i would have at least 1000 hours,seriously i spent years.
Bonus point:replay value,you can spend years on this game playing new adventures because everytime the story is rewritten and everytime...awesome.
The 30 of june the new update will be released and the game will have a lot of more things,after wich i'll make a new rewiew.
One last thing:comparing it with minecraft isn't possible,beacuse mc would have no chance.
