If you like:

+sci fi and body horror
+philosophy - themes of identity, the self, consciousness, artificial intelligence, humanity and post-humanity
+bleak atmosphere
+good voice acting
+narrative and storytelling over gameplay
+some scares

not for those that dislike:
- being unable to attack/kill monsters in the game
- lots walking and running in games
- simple puzzles (game isn't really complex - simple interactions)
- underwater environments and underwater stations/facilities
