The best of the Fallout franchise, imo. The three dimensional characters along with how much choice the player is given compared to Fallout 3 or 4 makes this title immersive and a joy to play. Gunplay is that love-it-or-hate-it definitive fallout style, with clanky combat unless you use VATS. There's also so much lore in this game; every building you enter has a story that you can uncover (this was amplified in 4, but at the time, this was a development from 3). It also introduced weapon customization for the first time in the series. Setting the game in Nevada was a brilliant choice and Vegas is a lot of fun; just note that you can get kicked out of the casinos for winning too much. Blackjack, poker, slots, they're all competent and functional. It also introduced Caravan; I didn't really mess around with it, wasn't a fan of deck building and the sorts, but it was easy enough to figure out and provided some fun. The western-style weapons, primarily rifles and shotguns, were more to my liking that the lasers and pistols of Fallout 3. If they were your thing though, don't worry, there are still plenty of plasma rifles, laser rifles, gamma rays etc. in New Vegas. Overall, a classic.

If you could only play one Far Cry game, this would be the one I reccomend. I consider it as the pinacle of the franchise: arguably the best villain, fluent gunplay, fast paced action, a breath of fresh air in how the game looked and played, and a lot more easy to pick up and go than, say, 2. There was also plenty to do aside from the main story, but I just focused on playing Poker and winning thousands. Either way, if you want to delve into the Far Cry saga and get a bang for your buck, this is the game to go for.

I got this for a tenner on sale and it's a great game. Blends the manual labour of running a farm/ranch with arcade style graphics and adventure elements. Upgrading and expanding your farm is a similar to a tycoon, where you must gather money from harvesting your slimes' "ploop" and selling it at the market. It's a simple premise but has enough content and flexibility to keep you entertained for hours. For such a large map, it runs really well on my low-mid range PC (AMD Athlon X4 950, RADEON RX-550 4GB, 1X8 GB RAM) without stutters or loading screens, on high settings. Strongly reccomend this game, it's got a cute artstyle and addictive gameplay.

You don't know rage until you lock yourself in a basement like a dumbass.

Simple and yet really damn addictive. Play it.

Where do I begin.

Total crap. Broken game, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ devs, terrible DLC, atrocious weapon rebalance, and in total this is how to turn a good game to a pile of ♥♥♥♥.

Do not buy.

Damn, this game is good. Buy it.
