Battle Royale is great fun. Takes a lot of practice but if you are into FPS games and survival you will probably have some fun with it. The game is still in Alpha, which you should know already unless you are an illiterate doorbell, so keep in mind there are ongoing issues and from time to time the game will be broken. For example, since updating to Windows 10 I have been having a lot of issues just launching the game. Which, to be honest, should be expected. Actually I was here to find out if Windows 10 is actually supported for the game and I doubt it is.

Having all that said the regular game mode leaves some things to be desired simply because it takes a long time to build things if you don't have a group to help you out. With the wipes as the game gets updated I wouldn't spend a ton of time getting established unless, like I said, you have a lot of friends that are going to play with you. Otherwise all your work will likely get wiped due to an update, which are frequent.

Having that said the most positive thing I have seen so far is that the developers are engaged with the community and listen to feedback. They are actively banning cheaters from the game and working on making it harder to use cheats in live play. Also, they have added a lot of cool things. For example, new weapons... AK-47, molotovs, flashbangs, exploding arrows all very cool and fun and have enhanced the game a lot. Downloadable content... skins you can apply to your weapons and in-game items that are 100% re-usable. Different game modes... battle royale started out as a free-for-all but obviously people wanted to be able to play in teams so they added a 2-person and 5-person team battle royale.

In general it seems like the game is headed in a good direction and as I mentioned above if you are into FPS/Survival games I think this game is worth it simply because it is a blast to play battle royale. Trust me, the first time you finish in first place you will be having a good time. Plus, the game is still in alphas and aside from the issues I have had since upgrading my OS it is quite stable and major bugs have been fixed promptly. I think as the game moves closer to a full launch there are going to be a lot of haters that come back and find that it is a great game.
