Game looks amazing, but there are a couple of issues:
Native linux port is blurry - especially can be seen on the menu UI and the high-res character sprites.
Default button mapping is lets just say a bit garbage. I presume remapping will be available in the full game.
You can get stuck in the level geometry,

Also would recommend some QoL changes:
Paths should be visible on the map, it would show how we can progress through the map zones (especially nice for backtracking).
Enable zoom/further movement for the screen where you can see items.

Otherwise waiting like crazy for EA. Sprite work is amazing, world tiles and objects look really great - the 2.5D look was done close to perfection. More tactical fighting system with timings was really fun.

I really recommend anyone who likes the world of Gothic to play it - especially if you have an option with the voice acting.

It's just everything that I wanted from a sequel to a wonderful game - intriguing story, fun puzzles, interesting new mechanics, gorgeous views and most of all it works really good (even on linux) and costs 30$.
AAA games wish they could achieve a completeness of a game that this have. Can't just express in words how much in awe I am for Croteam, this is my first preordered game and it definitely wasn't a dud.

If you loved the first game or Portal series or Antichamber or pretty much just any 3D puzzle game you will absolutely love it, although I do recommend playing the first game first - it makes you appreciate the progress much more, understand the ongoing story better, and it's a damn good puzzler. You can grab it cheap along with the Road to Gehenna DLC on any sale.

It's nice to play it again after 10 or so years, but I've been following the buyout of the game to the Masangsoft and it's in a terrible state for a game that was in works for 3-4 years. This is a review from a perspective of someone who played the original release.

Positives:
- The game is no longer P2W, hooray :D

Neutrals:
- I don't know how to feel about the ABC weapon system, previously you could tell how a gun behaved just from the model (and color), now it's just a glorified skin - while it makes for an easy system to fix and allows you to use any weapon as you like, it makes it also a boring system where all 20 or so weapons behave the same.

Negatives:
- The game still runs on Gamebryo, after 3-4 years of work couldn't the game be ported to its successor, creation engine atleast? The engine is most likely a disadvantage in producing anything for the game.
- Even if you didn't port it, then I would expect it to have new content - instead over a half of modes were removed (gun game, item match, bomb match, boss battle, etc...)
- Even if you didn't add anything new, then I would expect for many bugs and glitches from the game to be patched, but no. Honestly I have no idea what they were doing for those 3-4 years.
- XIGNCODE3, if you read any negative review you would know that it's not good, not only it doesn't work (cheaters already are in game), but the uninstall process is very convoluted.
- Customization options - Many old customization options removed, even if those are being steadily added f2ps have pretty much no customization options - either you have a different gacha so that you can't get paid costumes without paying or 3 options per part from the MP shop which prices are stupidly high because...
- There is no MP (F2P currency) per match played, only XP - that means you are massively limited in terms of how much can you earn, the only options are daily and weekly missions, achievements, daily rewards (which are miniscule, like 10 MP, where one part can cost 5000), level rewards (which are bugged, but now supposedly fixed, but hey they still stop after level 100) and level ups (which after level 100 change from just one match per level up to couple, then a dozen or so, then several dozen etc, and the biggest problem is that the level up reward is always the same, so it doesn't matter if you are level 1 or 100, you get the same amount - therefore the longer you play, the less currency you have)
- Leveling system is just weird, the icons look much worse than the old game, they are not as distinctive and returning to the previous point returning to mp per match and slow leveling would me much better, as currently level 100 takes the same time to get as the old level 15.
- The game is not newbie friendly, unlike the original there is no newbie server which would allow you to play with people with around the same understanding of the game mechanics (or smurfs but every game has problems with those), meanwhile you can play with someone who already played this game for over 100 hours, previously played this game original release and then private launchers.

The game is fun, but even more limited than it was 10 years ago. The devs currently spend the time on bug fixes (nice) and paid content (not nice), the game is already bleeding players badly, by the time I write this review it's 650 24h top, from 4000 2 weeks ago.
