Great, now I'm addicted.

I played Harvest Moon as a kid, some Runefactory, and I played Stardew Valley when it came out years ago and I was in love with it. Since then though, I have been picking up farming/life sim games trying to scratch that itch again, but none have really hooked me in the last 7 or so years.

This game feels so refreshing after playing through so many games that were missing one thing or another in this genre. The characters are so likeable, and their dialogue is extensive so far.

Outside the characters, the gameplay loop is exactly what I want from one of these games. The crops are varied, they have interesting food recipes, the mines are really fun, the town has so many upgrades available, the animals are cute as heck, the list goes on and on as you can see from all the other reviews.

Still in early access, but damn this game's devs understand this genre so well.

What a great little game :) had some very good mazes that were entertaining to solve. Takes about an hour to finish and it's free so why not give it a go!

Once every few years, I find a game that completely grips my soul and it's all I can think about. This is one of those games.

While playing it, I would feel more and more confident in my understanding of the universe and my ability to control my body and spaceship, only to have something make me realise that there is way more to learn. Things like how to explore a dangerous planet, or how to land on a very low orbit satellite without breaking my controller.

The reviews you have seen are hopefully vague; this is a rare kind of game in which progress is locked only by what you know. So do yourself a favour and play this game blind if you can.

Don't look up anything else about it beforehand.
Don't spoil the mysteries of the universe for yourself.

Just explore and enjoy your marshmallows.

- The gameplay is simple to grasp, but expect to die a few times while you get the hang of it.
- I recommend opening a list of craftable items in a browser, as they come to you very slowly in the form of 'idea cards'.

I have already spent 10 hours gathering resources and improving my little village. I hope one day I can get revenge for my fallen villagers.

This game is still in early access

And yet, it's still a great experience. This is exactly what I loved about the first game with much better graphics.

The story so far is incomplete obviously, but there is plenty in the world to explore, collect, and unlock.
I have caught all of the currently available slimes and upgraded my ranch as much as I could (~12 hours) and I still want to go back and play more; as someone who rarely finishes games, this is amazing.

If you like relaxing and low stakes gameplay, farming, and cute things, I highly recommend picking this up (if you don't mind an incomplete story as of writing this). These devs have already fully released a complete experience with their first instalment of this series, so I have full trust in this early access purchase.

A wonderful story game!

Playing as a cat was a breath of fresh air from any other adventure game I've played. Reminds me of a Half Life / Portal type of game, but more wholesome :)

If you like story games and have about 6 hours to spare, give this a go!
