As someone that absolutely loves puzzle, exploration and top-down rpgs this game felt absolutely perfect for me, but it really doesn't feel like a souls-like. The enemy designs felt perfect to fight against (birds being an exception) but boss fights didn't feel like you could fight without cheesing them using freezes in order to actually get damage. The level design in this game was phenomenal had many moments of thinking "that was there the whole time?" only other game that has made me feel that way is Outer Wilds. If you enjoy puzzle games and can handle slightly difficult combat recommend this 100%.
