Genius. Jazzy.

One of the best games I've ever played in over 30 years playing games.

After finishing the game to 100% and finishing all other Final Fantasies:

- Bland. Confusing story, bad psychology, looks like written by a teenager.
- Corridor simulator, there's little to no open world, you get some degree of freedom at the very last part of the game but even that is just one giant corridor.
- No shops, no NPCs, nobody to interact with, no map interaction.
- Combat is mediocre, decent animations, some nonsense decisions like controlling just one character, having to scroll through an annoying Paradigm Roles, no roles, handful of spells, very little in terms of strategy and quite an insult to the complexity of previous games.
- The equipment upgrade system I ever seen in a video game.
- Good music and FMV's, but that's pretty much it.

Save yourself the trouble and play a real semi-open Final Fantasy, like 1 or 6.

Pure fun. No gimmicks, no politics, no wokism, no MTX, just a videogame being a videogame. Excellent price, best $3 invested ever. Kudos to the developer.

Unable to play the game since purchase because sadly I cannot afford to wait the queue times and there's no servers without a queue for several hours at the time slot I can play.
