It is rare for a game to keep me hooked for over 100 hours but Crimson Desert managed to do exactly that. It stands out as one of the most entertaining experiences I’ve had in years offering a world that feels truly alive.

The Breakdown:

Exploration (10/10): The crown jewel of the game. The world-building is breathtaking and every corner of the map rewards your curiosity. If you love getting lost in a vast immersive environment this is as good as it gets.

Combat (8/10): Sharp fluid and consistently engaging. The mechanics are deep enough to remain fresh even after dozens of hours of gameplay.

Story (5/10): While the narrative is somewhat standard and serves more as a backdrop to the action it doesn't take away from the overall enjoyment of the journey.

Final Verdict:
If you prioritize gameplay and discovery above all else this is a must-play. It is a massive polished adventure that justifies every hour spent in its world.

After spending 100 hours playing Xenoverse 2, I can confidently say that it's a masterpiece of a game and I highly recommend it to anyone.
HOWEVER!, those 100 hours were the most challenging of my life!
My friend absolutely dominated me with god-like skills.
