People just don't know any better, there are actual good maps that go unnoticed because steam has a weird way of promoting maps. Garbage maps go on the front page and get more subscribers by people who don't even know that better maps exist.

That's your opinion, and you could express it more politely. And according to the ratings most people would disagree. If you made good maps then advertising them is needed of course, but not by trying to bring others down and take their spotlight.

That's because their maps are bad. They are made with the puzzlemaker tool, maybe with BEE-mod. Zero effort. They are also horribly broken and not fun as puzzles.
