Even though this is one of the greatest fps games of all time and nothing comes close to it.
I will never recommend this game to anyone until valve decides to really update this game, no garbo bloat cosmetic updates, no "we need you to do our work!" updates, no more maps, We haven't had any new weapons since 2017

- one of the biggest issue with this game are closet cheaters (not including bots)
Cheating on tf2 is so rampant. If you was to play 3 rounds of casual, 2 would contain a cheater of some sort. Not talking about bots either. I am talking about your average joe schmoe in the lobby who is running either a paid or copynpaste program. Just go on youtube and search up tf2 cheat gameplay, there is so many videos of people uploading themselves cheating its actually insane and sad. Its not just casual, pubs, community servers, its freaking the comp scene as well. UGC, RGL, ect has its fair share of closet cheaters. Some have invested into aussies , stranges, and unusuals to blend among the legit players. Its just way to easy and accessible for players to get some copy paste program and start cheating on tf2, VAC system needs a whole overhaul. It has been an ongoing issue since I started playing in 2012 but its became way more rampant since 2018-2019 and it only gets worse.

-Matchmaking ruined alot of fun.
Lets say you have a limited time for gaming, You can only spare 1-2 hours MAX , You Sit in que for 10-30+ mins, You join either a half filled lobby or a game thats ending to a map you can't even vote for cause the UI is broken. So many people will qq and dq after losing 1 round or within dying once or twice, to leave the rest of the game a half empty server that mm system never fills up. If you want to play with friends, you have to que up in a party which can cause longer wait times until you find another party. Can't swap, Can't spectate, No ALLTALK (vc is one of the best parts of tf2) Theres a chance to be autobalanced multiple times in the same game. You end up on a team with only fresh installs to play against people who have atleast 3-4k hours. Or you end up with players playing from the freakin moon with 200+ ping , You end up spending your free time dealing with BS

-NO UPDATES
Yes we still get seasonal updates, but every seasonal update since jungle inferno is straight bloat. We don't get any new weapons, We don't get new features or gameplay improvements. All they keep throwing at us is crates so we can spend money. NO we don't want another round of cosmetics or unusuals NO we don't want more maps, all it does is break the matchmaking system and makes it harder to find fuller games. AND NO STOP HAVING THE COMMUNITY DO YOUR WORK IN RETURN FOR MEDALS. WE WANT A REAL UPDATE ONE THAT ACTUALLY IMPROVES THE QOL OF THIS GAME THATS BEEN MAKING YOU MONEY FOR THE LAST 18+ YEARS Most of us just want quickplay back, which would improve the game 10x

There is one saving grace. (for avoiding cheaters)
For people who want to look past all of its BS and play TF2, do not bother with casual do this instead.

at the top look for Players box, click it, now the list will filter the populated servers to the top, click refresh all. >
now pick a server. Congrats you have found community servers. Not all are the best, some suck mainly cause badmins, you can avoid (NOT ALL) but most cheaters this way.
