Enjoyable, endearing, cozy game that I am thoroughly enjoying. There have been a few minor issues, but the devs have been very responsive in fixing egregious bugs and working toward resolution on the less critical ones. I inadvertently stumbled onto a way to get ultra wide support (set resolution to 1920x1080 & windowed, then set it to borderless, then set it to ultra wide and it scales appropriately, at least at the time of writing this review on Nov 15).

Overall, it's a solid game. The devs are responsive and communicative, which is a rarity these days. If you're on the fence, the game will only continue to get better. It's cheaper than a new Blu-ray and will net well over 30 hours of gameplay.

It's a good game. The music is great. Morris is the worst. Krobus best roommate.

I absolutely loved this game from start to finish. I wish the ground combat was more involved. Or different, really. It feels very inconsequential during the entirety of the game. Base management, turn-based space battles, and solid writing made this one of my top played games (I have more hours in the classic edition, prior to the release of the lightspeed edition). If you're looking for an SNES-era space-based RPG, and it's a steam sale, you should absolutely pick this up.
