Magic the Gathering is still the single best strategy game of all time. The economy isn't fantastic, there are some weird UI bugs that they haven't managed to fix, and yes the ladder meta is "pay to win". For me? Who cares, it's still significantly better than MTGO and I get to play my favorite game ever.
