+rep Allowed my 13-year-old son to fly the Boeing 737-800, the most common variant of the 737 Next Generation with a cruise speed of 523 miles per hour and CFM56 engine type, on a clear sky flight to New York across the Atlantic for his birthday. He was a bit apprehensive (as I'm sure the passengers were!) when my son attempted an unloaded extension maneuver after a bogey on our tail attempted a high Yo-Yo too steeply, but my little boy landed in JFK with ease.
