Brave Mujahideen Warrior DK 最近的评测

Long time fan of the studio, fantastic art direction and design. Devs actively listen to feedback, solving the few complaints I had with the game. Runs great on Steam Deck, but best played with a controller.

Development is slow, but incredibly high quality.

Stylistically, very cool.

Oblivion Remastered with hardware RT enabled runs better on my system than this does on High settings.

UPDATE: Revisiting a few months later, my account has been banned for using Linux.

A short game, but worth every bit.

Perfect game for the Steam Deck. Does require light tweaking for resolution and the usage of the community config of "Linux Lunacid", but aside from that it's perfect.

Absolutely incredible game

Short, sweet, and most importantly, inspiring.

This game is absolutely beautiful. It runs incredibly well, with few hiccups. The voice acting in both Japanese and English is truly stand out. The music design really turns the original soundtrack up a notch. The fact that Cloud's iconic sword is viable through the whole game? An incredible new choice that I genuinely love.

It just has two things holding it back.

1. Pacing

Every so often, the game *DEMANDS* that you slow down everything, if not come to a complete stop, and "Enjoy one of the vistas that we've crafted for you. Bask in it." You cannot unfocus at any time, you can't turn the camera, you can't do anything but watch things for an unnecessary amount of time. The slow downs aren't always coming to a complete stop. Sometimes, the game just decides you've been jogging too quickly for too long and demands that you now walk for an extended period of time. No reason. Just telling you, "you're walking now. Enjoy."

2. Combat

This game's comebat is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

There's no two ways about it. Hopefully, they took notes from Stranger of Paradise when taking on the combat of part 2 of the remake. The combat is woefully abysmal. Having to constantly babysit THREE HEALTH BARS in an action game? Your teammates only heal themselves if they're given a special materia that does it. And even then, they only heal up to 10 times per battle. If you like an obscene amount of stun locks, whiffing attacks due to what could be, at best, Square tacked up to not thinking how to balance, and enemies able to get up and fly just out of bounds and then nickle and dime your health, then this is absolutely your game.

If you value your time and haven't played VII, go play the original. Go play the original Crisis Core. Go play Dirge of Cerberus. I don't value my time, so I'm going to finish this. But the best that I could recommend someone is that they go and read the wiki entry on this game.

AI Upscaling for cutscenes has made the game look abysmal. Can't recommend any less. Go play The Silver Case.

Runs fantastic on Linux - both desktop and steam deck. No stuttering, no issues.

The platforming is........it takes liberties that I am less than a fan of. An impressive game, hope to see more, just not for me.
