This game is incredibly fun and incredibly addicting. Seeing all the damage numbers pouring our of a horde of enemies, melting bosses, collecting loot and feeling more and more powerful as the levels progress. It's so much fun. I feel like I've already gotten my money's worth and I'm nowhere near done playing this game.

Absolutely terrifying as someone who is deeply afraid of the ocean, and yet so incredibly fun that I kept getting pulled back in!

This is a very fun game, especially if you care deeply about animals. I cried when my first pair of red pandas passed away, but they sired an army of red panda babies that are slowly taking over my zoo! There are some kinks still, and the god-awful pathing system from Planet Coaster remains. Building can be really finicky, but it's super in depth, allowing you to create some beautiful builds once you're familiarized with the controls.

I've been playing Destiny since 2014, and one thing has always been consistent: incredibly fluid and explosive gameplay. Destiny 2 offers one of the best feeling FPS experiences I've ever had. Bungie has put a considerable amount of effort into making sure the weapons in the game are just fun to shoot. Everything from the way a gun handles, to the sounds it makes, to the feedback systems that reward you for getting a head shot--it all comes together to form an addicting combat rhythm where you find yourself just shooting random enemies for the hell of it, simply because it's fun. When you add in all the special abilities and combos from your character (Guardian) and unique weapon perks, you have a perfect recipe for causing wholesale destruction.

When it comes to story and quest design, I'd say it's pretty 50/50 on whether or not you'll find this content engaging. Destiny 2 at its core functions like an MMO, meaning you will have to grind and there will be quests that make you "Play 'X' activity and get 'Y' kills with 'Z' weapons." The story is there, but the in-game story isn't all that well written (at least the beginning portions), but there's a whole trove of lore to collect and read that expands the universe. If you're used to reading through literally every codex entry in RPG's, then you're in for a treat when it comes to Destiny 2's lore selection.

Destiny 2 offers a wide array of activities to play, but where Destiny 2 really shines is in its raids and dungeons. If you do anything in Destiny 2, I'd say try to find a group to raid or complete a dungeon. These are end game activities that require coordination with your team to complete difficult encounters that feel incredibly rewarding to overcome. On top of that, the art team at Bungie really goes above and beyond designing these areas. The raids and dungeons in this game provide some of the most beautiful scenes and settings I've seen in Destiny to date.

PVP is brought to you in the form of the Crucible, and... your enjoyment of the game mode will vary greatly depending on what you're looking for from a PVP shooter. You'll either love it, be apathetic toward it, or hate it entirely. The style of PVP combat in Destiny just isn't for everyone. I like it, personally, but that's not to say the Crucible is perfect.

The game is free to play, so you won't lose anything give it a try. If you're confused at the beginning and not sure what to do, please look up a new player guide online to help you get started! I suggest playing through the campaigns in order to get a feel for the game. After finishing the introductory mission and you arrive in the social space known as "The Tower", immediately turn left and head into the hangar and keep going until you find a woman named Amanda Holliday (you can use your map to locate her by hitting "M" and panning to the right, she'll be marked by a green pendant and should display her name when you mouse over her). She will offer you the campaigns that (for some reason) aren't automatically given to you since Bungie moved Destiny 2 to free-to-play. Play the campaigns in this order: The Red War --> Curse of Osiris --> Warmind --> Forsaken (optional DLC) --> Shadowkeep (optional DLC).

Looking forward to dumping another 1000 hours into this game!

The game is great. It's only a shame that they're no longer adding new gameplay updates to the game, because there's SO much they could impove on to make this a timeless expirience. At the moment, there isn't a good modding community to put in what the developers won't at this point. Better micromanaging resourcers, more building types, multi-level buildings, etc. It feels like a solid base expirience with so much potential that's been left out in the cold to do it's time.

This is the sort of game I'm been waiting years for. I remember using the old digital LEGO builder back when I was a kid, and LEGO Worlds offers a much more in-depth, intuitive experience to building with LEGO's without the risk of killing yourself by stepping on a LEGO brick.

I was impressed, for the most part. You can easily tell going into the game that it needs a lot of work. The camera controls are fairly clunky and irritating. The graphics aren't entirely there, but they're decent enough. The variety of bricks in the building menu could use some... expansion. As far as I was able to gather, we were limited to stationary, generic bricks. There were no doors, no specialized window bricks, etc. that exist in the real world. Basically, I was disappointed by how limited the brick library was. I prefer making complex, moving builds with LEGOs, you know, ships and contraptions and mechs and all those sorts of things. This game would be perfect if it allowed you to make your own vehicles from scratch (I still dream of the day where I can design my own Star Wars-esque capital ship and pilot it over my empire) and had the vast customizability and options that real LEGOs give you.

I also wish that your LEGO character could interact more with the world without having to go into the other menus to do so. Aside from riding animals and punching skeletons, there's very little you can do without using something from the build menu. That's just my opinion on the matter, at least.

Overall, I'm interested to see where this game is going. I understand it's still in development, and I know that it isn't entirely done yet. I hope some of these issues are rectified by the time the final product is released.
