One of the funnest management sim games I've played in a long time. The style and presentation of the game is exquisite, especially the really well animated pixel art cut scenes. Managing and improving the sushi restaurant is so satisfying, too. This game is a gem, and the "overwhelmingly positive" review score is well earned.

This game is extremely fun. The traversal is what surprised me. Being able to run, jump multiple times, mantle, wall-run, glide, and super jump made running around the map so fluid and fun that I rarely wanted to use the built-in teleport features. There's a very clear "unlock a new tier of the same tools that uses new materials and has better stats" progression that I always find enjoyable, but there's also a skill system that provides a lot of interesting gameplay-affecting bonuses. I really enjoyed the process of setting up auto-harvesters on all my islands and doing loops collecting the resources. Also, if you care about your hands, PLEASE enable the auto-clicker option when it prompts you upon starting the game. You will be clicking a LOT.

Very simple farming game, but it's fun for what it is, and especially for only $3. Progression stops fairly quickly, and the achievements are rather grindy (particular the 10k plants/10kL water ones). It's an overall fun and cute experience, but it's one I likely won't be revisiting.

Fun game that I wish had a more active modding community because it's desperately in need of streamlining/QoL tweaks.

I loved watching these characters' relationship unfold. It's a very sweet and charming story with a simple exploration-based gameplay loop to lead you to more interactions and cutscenes between the main characters. This is very, very focused on the main relationship, so if you're looking for world building or a wider message, you may come away from this with a lot of unanswered questions. But if you just want a love story, then this game does it very well. It didn't hit me very hard emotionally, but it was still pleasant with an acceptable resolution if you don't think too hard about the implications. Also, bonus points for letting you be gay. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the combat. If they had left it out entirely, I would have been much happier. It's... fine. Like it's not terrible. It's just annoying or tedious sometimes to the point that I dreaded seeing enemies out and about that I knew I'd have to deal with eventually. It felt more like a chore than something I wanted to do. Oh well. At least everything else was still fun.

I thought I'd like this more as a long time Sentai/Power Rangers fan, but none of the references and set dressing (literally) could win me over on the core gameplay. I got halfway through the Season 2 and decided to put the game down because I wasn't hooked. That being said, the game is still really charming. The pixel graphics are cute, and I like the overall concept of the game. I'm not going to mark this as "Do not recommend" as I can tell this is still a well made game that I'm sure many people will find fun. I just don't think this style of RPG is for me, but if this is your preferred genre, you'll probably like it a whole lot more than I did.

Really fun mining game if you were fan of Motherload back in the day, only with an added tower defense mode where you defend your dome from waves of monsters between the mining segments. Lots of variety between the various dome customization options, character customization options, and the secrets you can find while playing. The ambiance is incredible, I love the pixel art style, the palettes, and the music. The game has a lot of charm to it, too.

I was able to finish all the achievements and experience everything in around 30 hours, but I was taking it a bit slow. I think this will be all I play of the game, and that's fine with me. I think I got my money's worth out of this title. That being said, there's a lot of room in this game to replay it endlessly and improve your run scores/speeds. There's a lot of variety here to keep you entertained for way longer than I put into it. I just don't have the time to keep playing right now.

I recommend this game, and if you're concerned about the game being too hard or stressful, have no fear! Every mode has an "easy mode" option, as well modifiers to make things more streamlined and accessible, including an option to play the main game mode without any monsters so you can just have fun mining.

I may come back if there's another content update one day, but until then, thanks for the fun. 👍

The game is fun and I'm really enjoying it, but I have to give this a Do Not Recommend for now. If you like Stardew Valley, this game is basically that but with 3D graphics. I might even be understating how much this game is like Stardew Valley wearing a mask, but that's not really a problem for me as the setting is beautiful and unique. No, my issue is that the game is unfinished and had no business being launched into 1.0 in this state. Usually, when something is launched as Version 1.0, you expect a complete experience... but there's scraps and threads of unfinished content all over the place. Multiple times now I've went and looked up something that didn't make sense only to see the best explanation be "the developers haven't finished that yet." Which like, fair, but why release into 1.0 then? Why have all this dangling plot threads that don't go anywhere still in your game? All it does is make me excited for something that doesn't even exist yet, but maybe that's my fault for expecting things to be fully implemented in a fully released product.

Aside from the unfinished content, there are so many bugs. Character portraits are bugged on the in-game map and sometimes just show empty squares. The game gets really laggy around certain times a day (like 6PM) as a bunch of stuff is triggered simultaneously. It sometimes freezes for so long I think it's going to hard crash. Filling machines causes the game to hitch. My characters head was completely broken during the only unique romantic cutscene you get with your romantic interest. The game still needs some polish, and hopefully it gets it eventually.

If the content currently in-game is finished and the bugs are ironed out, then I'll change my review. Until then... yeah.

EDIT 1/12/23: They released a hot fix with so many bug fixes and it somehow barely moved the needle on the amount of issues this game has. Turns out I've been really lucky because other people have lost progress, saves, and tools due to bugs (and if you don't have tools, you can't get them back, making the game unplayable). I also reported a bug and the developer told me to my face "this is intended" so my hope for this game getting better is starting to wane. I'll keep my eye on it, but all of this has really soured what was a game that made a great first impression. It needed at least another 6 months of polish before being officially "released".

Also, I have another issues with the NPCs. NPCs can run out of stuff to say and just stop talking to you. They don't even recycle old lines. Every romantic interest uses the same lines when you ask them to be your partner, and this affects nothing in-game outside of unlocking a special additional cutscene, if it even plays at all cause almost all of them are bugged in some way. My partner in-game has not once acknowledged that we're dating outside of the one date we had (which was also bugged, mind you). I love these characters, but there's just so little to them I don't actually enjoy being friends or even dating them. Stardew Valley is just pixel graphics and text on screen and even those characters seem more alive than this.

One of the best ways I can describe this game is the resource gathering aspect of Subnautica crossed with the gameplay loop of an idle clicker game, where you unlock and build progressively better objects to make the Number get Higher. For an early access title, this has a lot of great things going for it. I can't wait to see the shape of the game a couple updates from now. (But even then, the game as is is still fun!)

Just a word of warning, this game is going for a more chill science-fiction theme, with an emphasis on the "fiction". If you're expecting gritty, scientific realism in a terraforming game, then this is just the wrong game for you. There are no enemies or combat, and you'll have to be comfortable with the idea a chunk of titanium and iron in your inventory being easily transformed into a livable room with power and oxygen production capabilities... and the idea that the (relatively speaking) small devices you craft are strong enough to influence change on a planet-wide scale. There's a free demo. Try it out for yourself first. :)

I don't recommend buying from this company. Save your money and run elsewhere.

Program is way too expensive for something that's essentially just a series of word processor templates with no spellcheck. Most egregiously, this app is being abandoned in favor of a ludicrously expensive subscription model with an option for a one-time purchase that costs 4x the price as this product to get the same features.

How quickly the developers pivoted from trying to create a tool to help writers to creating a money making scheme to squeeze creatives out of as much money as possible. Please respect yourself and look elsewhere.
